contessa, i think you should go for a thinner band... the current band kinda overwhelms your beautiful e-ring. good luck on your choice!!! yes and sandwich sounds awesome :p

LOL!!!

It will definitely be one if not THE most tastiest and tempting sandwiches ever!!!

NYC_Cady........you've really given me something to think about!

You know.......I will go back tomorrow to see if I can snap a quick pic of the 2 Novo's sandwiched together!!! The more I think about it, the more I love this unique idea. Thanks so much nyc_cady!

Anytime!!! I do what I can! :p

P.S. If you sandwich, the question can then be asked "How much Tiffany can you wear on one finger?!!!" :p

Yes I completely agree Carlinha. Ironically YOU were on my mind in the store today as I was looking at "shared" bands. GORGEOUS as they are, they somehow don't suit the ring I have. :girlsigh: YOURS however is stunning.

I will say this.......the Tiffany store had amazing ambience......dim lighting.....everything sparkled to oblivion! My e-ring looked HUGe!!! I wanted to buy the entire store!

I love the Tiffany store, I seriously could spend HOURS (heck, days!) there! Where are you located? My Tiffany's is the one on 5th Avenue and I always just breathe a little sigh when I walk in there!

awww thanks contessa! if you don't mind explaining what a "shared" band is? i'm not sure i quite understand what you mean by this...

"shared" refers to I believe what is a half-circle of diamonds as opposed to an "eternity" which continues full circle.

I've been thinking (thanks to Einseine) & I'm confused as to what to do. Will 2 Novo bands be too boring? Should I wear only 1 traditional wedding band?? Or wear 2 completey different bands "sandwich" style?

I probably won't be wearing the wedding band(s) on their own as I have my substantial RHR. These/this band will be worn with my e-ring at all times.

Dilemma!!! IF I did go for 2 bands, I really want them super narrow......and the Novos are perfect that way.

I still say go with Novos. To me wearing two different bands sandwich style somewhat takes away from the engagement ring. IMO, I would want my ering to stand out and my wedding band(s) to just sparkle.

I had somewhat the same dilemma when I was shopping for wedding bands and the Novo(s) were about to be purchased when I stopped in a mall jewelery store of all places in Cleveland and found the perfect one. I plan on sometimes only wearing a wedding band so for me, having that option was paramount.

Plus, I just love how the Novo sparkles so much when worn! Are you going to go back and take pictures?? Since you have a solitaire I'd love to see how it all looks. I have a 3 stone and I will say the Novo didn't quite sit flush with my ering.

You make a good point. That's exactly the look I want for my e-ring- to stand out with "sparkle" from the sides. I think this is a great way to "halo" the entire ring and not just the diamond LOL!

I don't know if I'll have time to go to the store today.....

ahhh ok got it!

i think two novos sandwiching would be beautiful! why don't you try it on and see how it looks like nyc_cady suggested?

LOL......so I'm hoping that after these 2 Novos, that will be IT for some time.

Why do I hear evil laughter in the background??!!

You're doing the sandwich?!?! Yay!!! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

I'm doing a little happy jig in my computer chair!! :p

P.S. Isn't spending money, especially at Tiffany's, fun?!?!! :D

LOL.......I'm going to have DH go with me this weekend to "have a look" at this combo! His initial reaction was, "What? 2 wedding bands? Then they aren't wedding bands.....they're rings. I've never seen 2 rings used as wedding bands."

Know how I replied??? I responded, "Yes, I know....but this is the new millenium!!!! They symbolize YOU & ME......together, but separate!" ;)

And he cannot argue as I learned the best rationalization techniques from him!!
