Ladies!

Since getting my new e-ring upgrade, it hasn't taken me long to "itch" for something else! ;)

I currently have the Tiffany etoile-style wedding band & while I LOVE it, I cannot help thinking it's a tad "wide" for my e-ring. The widths I prefer are approx 3mm......no wider than 4.

I do love that it sits flush and has hints of sparkle. Having said that, I adore thin bands....shared settings especially and ones like the Tiffany nuovo, legacy etc.....even the Tiffany "bezet" Leon Mege's work is lovely as well. I don't want to spend too much $$$ on this band, but I want something outstanding, simple, and sparkly.

Question is: Should I leave well enough alone?

OR

Should I tempt myself into a new WB?? Thoughts and ideas are welcome!

Here's a pic of my new e-ring (RB) and I have an older pic of my cushion diamond e-ring (same setting) with the wedding band I currently own so you get an idea.

I'm a huge fan of the Novo myself. I looked at that for my wedding band (ended up going for something different), but I love the look! I was going to get two Novos and sandwich my e-ring betweent them.

I think your ring would look great with anything though! It's so classic!

I would get sometihng of a similar width, personally. I am too anal-retentive for non-matching widths. SO perhaps a thinner bead-set band, novo or otherwise?

I like the Novo too.. that's my favorite. However, I do agree that your set looks beautiful as it is and would also look good with almost anything..

I am pointing the finger at YOU!!! as most of the blame for me wanting something!!!! Lily25 comes next......then Daluu.......verdict is out on Ame as she's always looking LOL!

This place is dangerous!!!

I will have a look at the Novo in person. Although the shared setting steals my :heart:

Simple and cheap would be to leave things be......and Littlerock always speaks logically....so I will have to think this through......for at least a week.......ok....maybe a couple of nights LOL

I think either today or tomorrow, I will pop into Tiff's and try a few bands on. I think that's the only way I'll be able to see what looks best.

While I love the shared, it may not work with my ring.

contessa in your opinion what do you think of buying a wedding band from tiffany. i would be purchasing a plain platinum 3mm band.... do you think in your opinion is tiffany platinum bands good quality ?
i love yours by the way :)

I feel Tiffany makes quality items but you are indeed paying for the name.

For a plain platinum band you could do either. I don't think the mark-up is too substantial. Depends on how important the Tiffany name is to you.

I managed to try on several styles. Believe it or not, the "shared" setting does not suit my e-ring whatsoever! I was a bit disappointed!

The Novo is beautiful but very thin, so NYC-cady's idea of using 2 to sandwich the e-ring is brilliant!! It looked very pretty too!!!

My fave (& much to my surprise!) and that looked THE best was the 3mm channel set "path way" GORGEOUS!! Anything wider would look out of place.

Didn't snap pics as i forgot my iPhone in the car! But the front runners are 2 Novos (sandwich style) or the 3mm channel.

Not crazy about channel settings but Tiffanys is spectacular I must say!

What I really need to do is go back & snap pics !!

What I was going to do was solder one Novo to my ering and then have one loose so I had options! Just a thought! Sandwich it!! :graucho:

It will definitely be one if not THE most tastiest and tempting sandwiches ever!!!

NYC_Cady........you've really given me something to think about!

You know.......I will go back tomorrow to see if I can snap a quick pic of the 2 Novo's sandwiched together!!! The more I think about it, the more I love this unique idea. Thanks so much nyc_cady!
