I saw the duck at the NYC 5th Ave boutique at the end of May. The lapis had lovely gold flecks. Not sure if it's still available.

Just wanted to say that I called the nyc flagship about the lucky summer earrings, since they show on the website. My SA said they're not available now and have not been since the first time, and they're not coming back. I'm not sure why they are on the website.
In my experience, that boutique often gives misinformation. They may very well be sold out by now, but they were certainly around as of a few months ago as noted by a lovely member here. There seemed to be a few that tricked in around summer/autumn of this past year. I am not sure if they are totally sold out now, or if a few more will trickle in here and there.
It's frustrating because I purchased my six motif and carnelian guilloche from her ; she was super sweet and nice but whenever I ask about these earrings she always says not available/never was and never will be....
I tried calling some other locations last time but no luck. One SA did say to continue on my vca journey and buy other things and who knows what will come up for me, but that's not how I do things tbh.
I had hoped that since I really wanted them last time, I might have a chance now, but I guess not
I also reached out to the short hills vca as I bought from them and had such good experiences there but they said these special pieces don't come to their store.

The way I choose to think about it is as follows; I believe it to be true, but it also allows me to not puzzle over people when I just want to be happy and carefree. It is possible for someone to be both genuinely nice and completely incorrect; lacking knowledge/not interested in obtaining correct information/trying to guide expectations in the way they imagine is kind, etc.
I honestly don’t know if there are more of these earrings coming, but if there are, they will be in very scarce numbers and unpredictable in location. Therefore, it doesn’t hurt to ask far and wide, and more than once at a respectable interval, at least for the time being. It doesn’t hurt to ask, it’s not like it is an item everyone is asking for. Then the SA may remember your name if they do come across them.
Just saw a few more zodiac animals in the store… the carnelian on the dragon and monkey looks a little darker than others I’ve seen previously. SA said they received a snake too that sold, just in time for the coming lunar new year!
Hello! I recently started contemplating adding a lucky animal clip to my collection. The hardest part is picking which animal but I think I’ve narrowed it down to a lion or hummingbird, love both and prob will get both… eventually. I reached out to my SA recently and was told both of those animals cannot be ordered at this time, can only be waitlisted.. therefore I’m waitlisted for both animals, will see which one comes in first. Was wondering if anyone knows the current TAT for being waitlisted for the lucky animal pins. I know both of these animals are pretty popular but was hoping to see how readily they become available… I’ve never seen them in my boutique that I can recall. Thanks in advance!
