New Tom Ford Jennifer bag

I'm on the fence. My initial reaction when I first saw it was " oh wow, a satchel style" but the more I looked at it, the more I'm not sure if it works. I'll be the first to admit that satchel and or boston style bags are my weakness and that might be why my first reaction was to be excited about this. The more I look at it, the more I wish it was a bit less "Jennifer-ish". Maybe if it kept the rounded base with zipper but not the zip/fold over top??? One of the things I love about satchels and top handle bags is the ease of reaching in for something without too much trouble. The way the fold top works on this, I think you would almost have to put the bag down???? Wouldn't know for sure without seeing the bag in person 
I didn't notice that until you mentioned it, but you're right. I hope the rest of the fall line brings something better than this
Michael Kors also makes/made a very similar bag. I do love the style very much though.
It lost its magic with this interpretation. The handles make the design too busy.
It looks like a Kate Spade. I don't like it. I actually like the Kate Spade version of this better.
It looks awkward and difficult to get into because of the handles and the placement of the opening. Not liking it.
I prefer the original, although even the original design lack of distinct quality to make it special. it's just a nice bag that I'm not willing to buy for that price. will definitely buy it if it's 1000$ or so though

I still like the bag though. Now i don't know if i would spend 2600+ on it but i do enjoy the design. I think after awhile all bags start to look the same anyway. I guess there can only be so many shapes and styles before it stores meshing together.
