New to Pandora....HELP!

To anyone that isn't sure whether to start wearing the bracelet before it's full, I personally had more fun with my bracelets when they weren't full! Picking out the beads, waiting to get them, and rearranging them are so much fun. (I have been late to work more than once rearranging beads "just so" to match an outfit! A store owner gave me a large pipe cleaner to preview my designs to save time, so I will still have my job!)When I first started, I bought 5 starter bracelets and even wore them empty for awhile, and occasionally I will wear bracelet with just a few beads even though I can fill it up.

On another note, does anyone know where I can get the turquoise pearl dangle (79339 TP)? I have not been able to find it for under $399!! (I was only able to find one place that still has this retired bead. I have checked back periodically to see if they lowered the price so they could sell them, and now they only have 1 left! The original price for this bead was under $36!!!) I almost caved and bought the bead for $399, but I don't know if I could live with paying over 10 times the cost for this bead.

If anyone will be listing one on ebay, I would definitely be interested. Thanks!!

I'm a bit confused about the price rise here in Australia too.
I read about it on a few online places, so a friend and I had a bit of a splurge, but when I mentioned it to some of the Aussie retailers, they seemed to know nothing about it, and still here, as of today, the prices have not gone up. Anyone know if it;s different in Australia?
I saw that turquoise one in a shop here recently, I'll have another look next time I'm out - whereabouts are you Mimi?

ETA: are these all of the new Pandora?
Not sure I like the enamel ones, I'd have to see them in person. I do like the "tree of life" and will definitely get that one, and probably the fish bones one in green (as a cat lover!), the rest I'm not so excited about. I was hoping for some more Murano beads.

Those are ALL of the new beads....disappointing, for sure. I don't get the enamel ones either. Pandora seems to lack a real commitment to the art glass beads. Trollbeads carries a much better selection of Murano beads, but they won't fit on a Pandora. Personally, I have pretty much decided to stop buying either Pandora or Trollbeads glass beads, anyway, as they are small and lack real style. As I've said before, Self-representing glass artists provide a much better selection than what you can get from either manufacturer.

I buy from Michelle Johnston (NellieMae Lampwork in Australia), Ulja from Uljasbeads in Italy on Etsy, Kim Miles (Kim Miles Beads in US) and Krista Tseu (5 Fish Designs in US) on eBay. Some have their own websites:

I rarely reach for my Troll or Pandora glass beads anymore. These artists spoil you for truly beautiful beads.

Take a look!

I actually checked out NellieMae from a previous post of yours, I agree they are beautiful, and unique.
I think that Pandora couldn't really do anything like that because of the mass production aspect, so many stores here are totally out of the glass beads and desperate for more.
However I do LOVE my Pandora, and with a necklace and two bracelets, I can't see myself giving them up anytime soon.
I was just excited too see the new beads and I guess hyped myself up a bit too much....probably because I read that there would be "new colors" and I got all excited about more Murano, and instead it was enamel which hadn't entered my head.
I actually like the simplicity of the Pandora Murano, because they just add a splash of color, and interest without being too busy. I'd love some of the existing designs in a brighter pink, or a purple, and they need a white with black (not brown) spots too!

STUNNING!!! I will be ordering for sure!

There are a few new Pandora's that are pretty cute. Not so sure on the penguin tho. I already got my daughter the penguin from Chamilia and it fits her Pandora perfectly and it's SOOO cute. I'd like to see the Pandora penguin in person before I buy it (I want to see the back of it). The monkey would be a cute Mother's Day gift.

I think I agree that the Chamilia penguin is cuter. Every time I look at the Pandora one it reminds me of that creepy Danny DeVito penguin movie character from the Batman series!

I think there are two turquoise dangles, one with a turquoise pearl, and one with a turquoise gem. Did you really see the pearl one?? Thank you so much for responding, you are so nice!! I live in Chicago.

If any of you want the recently retired Pandora beads for the normal price, shop here:

http://www.thethoughtfulnessshop.com/shop/category5.asp?catid=47

They have
Eternity
Friendship
Happiness
Harmony
Love

and still at the normal price of $20. Nice to see they don't take advantage of the situation. I rewarded their honesty by buying a few more non-retired pieces for my daughters' bracelets (clips, etc...). LOL! Free shipping over $40 on Pandora jewelry.
