New to Givenchy-- shortening small pandora cross body strap

Hi all! I'm new to Givenchy but am interested in maybe purchasing a small pandora handbag. I've been reading up on this forum about the bag and the different sizes as well as watching youtube videos about it! One video that I watched mentioned that Givenchy will shorten the cross body strap for you but that it takes a couple of weeks. I've been trying to find out more information about this but haven't been able to. Does anyone know anything about this and if it's true? The cross body strap on the small is a little long for my 5'2" height and would be so happy if I could go through a Givenchy boutique to get it shortened!

I spoke with Givenchy Madison Ave NYC store. They can research with leather professionals they work with to see if it can be done and pricing. Shortening is not something that is available through the company....like the bag won't be sent to Paris for the alteration. Sounds like they are very willing to assist.

Unfortunately Givenchy won't do it, but they recommend contacting a leather specialist to get it shortened.

That's what they told me via email, but it sounds like the Madison Ave store will actually help you find someone to shorten the strap.

I am sure that even the Vegas boutique would be helpful but the Madison Ave store is in NYC, the heart of fashion and more likely the place to find better leather professionals.

Thanks for all of your help!!! Emailed Givenchy's customer service and they gave me the email address for the Madison Ave Store. Got a reply right away and was told that as long as I purchase the bag from their store they can shorten the strap and then mail the bag to me!! I'm so glad that they're able to help me with this!!!!!

Did you have to pay for it and if so, how much? Been thinking of having my small's strap shortened as well.

I purchased mine from reebonz. Not sure the boutique is willing to help to shorten the strap. Now i tied 2 knots at each side cos the strap is too long on me (i'm 5ft 2")
