yeah, i'd be running back to the store with that. you did pay...how much!! and i'm sorry to hear that you've been having problems with your bag. i mean, if you've have done this more than 5 times i think you'd be embarassed yourself (right?) but i'm sure they'd love to help you or even help you look over your bag with you the next time you buy it ;) well, it's only been 3 hours....it would be better for you to go back to the store and exchange it (just wait for the other one when it arrives) because it won't make you feel any better if it's not perfect to your standards. :)
Yes, I am Coach cursed with looking for the perfect fit. I think I inherited this critique thing from my mom. She used to look things over until I was starved for lunch and have everything out to compare all over the floor. Now I wish she was with me to see this flaw and she would have spotted it in 10 seconds. And yes I have been back a few times..
but I spend lots of money a year, more than I exchange..anything in comparison...They are there to help you most of them..if they are not really busy,..I find one store more anxious to just sit with me and let me try on my stuff and tell me not for looks but function if it is right for me.. thanks!!!

I have my Khacki and gold satchel about 3 hours and I looked it over carefully as I always do as I was admiring it, and one patch where the optic C's and canvas combo meet in the actual square patch, ends with the botoom C"s sort of unfinished if I can describe it and canvas off white shows like it could possible be ragged. Now would any of you be running back to the coach store with that? The bag retails for 458.00 so it had better be basically sound. it looks like the satin C's are unfinished and could possibly tear. The pebble if I get it dirty is me..But it is untouched. I think I will take it back to the store and just show it to them. But, they really have no other bags in stock until the 26th to compare it to or for me to take unless I order another from jax and that could have something too I would be looking at. I am just too picky that is so annoying to me that I do this. FYI, I was depating on the Indigo withe the jeans pocket which I have in the wristlet instead and the little Coach ticket inside specifically says this fabric is dyed denim and can rub off on white or light clothing . So for me that is not desirible and ladies keep this in mind for there is a jeans pocket on the ergo tote and this satchel. So guys, what do you think, run back to the store in a Lynn panic...so embarassing.EEEEEEK...???????

Oh hun I'm sorry! *hugs!!!!* I'd take it back, definitely.

I know exactly how you are because I am the same way... and I hate myself for it sometimes!

I most definitely have lusted after a bag for weeks and finally buy it only to hate it the next day and want to return it. Unfortunately for me, usually I carry them for a week or so and THEN find something I don't like or just decide "it's not me" and then I take a loss on them because I have to sell on ebay... :p

I find fault with things that are probably silly sometimes...

Once, I didn't like the way the hardware "squeaked" in the leather handles... another time I thought the outside side pockets were too "loose" -- and once I was upset because the signature was just a "tad" bit off -- so back they all went.

However, a flaw is something completely unacceptable and that would go back and be exchanged and I'd have no problems with that!

Accessories are a different story -- I've almost never been unhappy with accessories. It's only the purses... :shrugs:

My hubby tries to ignore it all -- now whenever a new bag arrives he'll say something like "that's a nice one. I like it. Are we keeping it?"

Lynn:

I feel for you. I am the same way, very hard to please.
I can't tell you how many Coach Bags I've bought and no sooner do I get home and put all my stuff in that I find out the bag is just not right (size, shape, doesn't lay right, or some flaw I just happen to notice). Take it
back. The only bag I am lovin right now is my Ergo vintage Tote. I am returning my Ergo white small hobo as it is just too small and I will exchange it for the Ergo Patent Red Hobo. I hope you are able to find something that from the new floorset next week. Let us know how it turns out.

Good Luck,
Liz

I returned the satchel. they did not think that flaw that I thought would rip the fine c's in silk would be a problem, but for me it was. They gave me credit return cards and took the money off my account. Their computer's were down, so they wanted to place a new order and I decided to think about things until I saw them in the store. So, I took the hard cards back. I am going to bring the legacy slim flaps back over the weekend either to a store or the outlet. They said it was fine , but the floor set is not in and I do not want anything in the store I kept the indigo wristlet and they said be careful as with your own jeans on white pants and there could be a transfer. That goes for bags to white ones especially on the inside linings, Now my ponytail scarf is also ripped just on the inside tag. on one end. It is pretty hard to sew since it is silk and there are no more. i am just going to sit tight until I see something light that I simply love..The Sa who is a guy, fun..said, Lynn no more big hardware for you banned totally. So what is left if I do not like Ergo. I cannot get two patchwork things. ACCCCCK. I pick on everythig in the world...feel purseless.. for everyday except my pepple shoulder tote brown, very comfy...LOL

My DH is totally disgusted for I do exactly the same thing. He says you return them and he is usually good about it. I have two to return for credit. Legacy flaps. So, I am going to do it...save the ones that are credit for i do it all the tine without wearing them and lose the receipts. I am only going to buy lite bags which leave me so few options that are cute. Let us see what the new floor set brings..Thanks, you are not the only one!
