Hi everyone. This is be my next Cartier bracelet. When visiting Cartier I always admired the large YG on the men there. I have waited for rose gold for years! I talked to my sa and she said it was about 9 grams of gold and solid, not hollow.
To me it is Iconic Cartier as the Santos is so very Cartier! The shine on it is incredible , the high polished metal is something I LOVE. :)

It’s very pretty, but I personally do not think the Santos bracelet or necklace are worth the price. They are essentially just a basic lightweight paperclip chain that can be found at SO many different stores for a fraction of the price. It’s not a Cartier-original design or even one that is particularly complicated to make … you’re paying quite a hefty markup just to get it from Cartier vs. another jeweler.

And I’m a fan of Cartier jewelry and am fine with paying that markup on certain items, particularly ones that Cartier originated, like the JUC, Loves, their timepieces, etc. But for a basic chain, I personally would save the $$$ by buying it cheaper elsewhere and then put those savings toward a more special Cartier piece. But to each their own!
It’s of course a very pretty, timeless, and versatile style that you would get lots of wear out of. ✨
I disagree. Cartier did originate the Santos design and I can spot it anywhere! My friend messaged me today to say she just watched The Other Woman with Cameron Diaz and she had the bracelet and necklace on. I think true Jewelry fans would know what it is and to others it is a shiny bracelet.

I also do not think it overpriced . If you look at 14g gold paperclip chains that weight about 5 grams , they are about 1k from no name jewelers.I looked at a site called babygold. If I were to sell it, I would just get the gold weight which would be pennies on the dollar. With Cartier I am able to recoup more than just scrap metal cost. I will not get another non signed gold piece ever. I have LOST a lot of money doing this.
I am very excited about this release of Rose Gold! I hope to get the necklace as well. :)
