I think it’s one of those pieces that’s best to try on first before passing any judgement (personally for me!). This one doesn’t resonate with me for very different reasons. I love the look of stones but don’t wear them much so I have been trying to avoid them. I like solid gold or pave pieces best that are low maintenance.

Did the pieces seem impressive in person despite not being your style?

You really do have lovely hands, but I think the rings are doing them a disservice!
Haha, thank you!

Personally, I don't enjoy the colors they chose to go together or the shape being a little juvenile. So to me, the ring was not very impressive when I first tried it on. But, if you like the style and colors of the ring, I think it could be a gorgeous addition to a spring/summer outfit. I do like the size of the ring and how loud and in charge it is!

I did try on a lot of other pieces at the boutique that day, so I feel like some of those other pieces may have overshadowed these rings for me.

Thanks for sharing! I wish they swapped the colors, white/black and green/blue, that would be ideal.
I think they would be much more beautiful and harmonious if the center color on each was swapped with the petal color. Just imagine it, much nicer (pop of blue agate petals with a center single MOP), malachite single stone center (since the petals are angled with striations in all kinds of directions and not oriented well visually) and onyx petals (a neutral with a single color accent), the coral/turquoise is fine, but that would also be prettier and less loud with turquoise as the petals and coral as the center. If I was VCA and designing from scratch, I would do options more like: chalcedony petals with blue agate center in YG: beautiful stones, flowing and harmonious colors, softer colored stones for the bulk of the ring, since it is large, and a stone that people want in a different metal than it is usually offered in.
