I got the Neo Alma PM too. It is very beautiful. Corners are sturdy and proportions are all good. It looks more expensive than it is

I think the pictures on the website don't do it justice, they make the bottom corners look like they are much wider than the rest of the bag, but it looks like in real life the bag has a much nicer shape

For those that got the new Alma, why the PM size? What do you normally carry that you choose this size over the BB? i personally am a fan of this style. No one at this stage knows how the corners will wear, for me this isnt really a concern as i'm not hard wearing on things and the other thing people are saying they dont like is the "bigger" plain leather band near bottom, i actually quite like this. For me its a very pretty bag and one i see myself happily using in 20yrs.

A few reasons I chose the PM size...
I’m not really a cross body girl (I have a large chest and cross body is not super flattering on me). I do have a Saintonge in Black empriente leather and I do wear this bag cross body but over a heavy winter coat so the silhouette works for me. I didn’t really want or need another crossbody but if I did the BB would be adorable. Lastly, the Alma is quintessential LV and I know this is a forever bag. I just felt the PM style would serve me better long term. I do think the new style is a fresher take. I will say though that this is probably not an everyday workhorse bag. I’m definitely careful with her and I have other bags that I use for everyday. However, I haven’t been able to put her down since I got her. The PM is the lightest bag I’ve ever owned and I just love it. Also, I have a nice collection of bags (Celine, LV, Chanel) but I get SO many compliments on the Alma. Hope this helps. Overall, I think bag size is a very personal choice. You really can’t go wrong with either.
@Lelmillin thank you for the reply, this definitely has given me a few pointers for deciding on size and what will work best for me now and in the long run.
I didn’t buy it (yet, lol) but I tried both the Neo BB and PM with my things inside. I would definitely get the PM size myself. The BB fits all my basic essentials but there is not much room left. My basic essentials include a toiletry pouch (a little wider than my mini Pochette), a soft nylon pouch with my three canvas cles inside, a ZCP, a flat pen pouch, a folded up reusable shopping bag. I couldn’t fit these same essentials into the P Metis or the Epi Alma BB so the Neo BB is slightly roomier than these two bags due to the soft leather and design. The Neo PM gives me more room to put more things in it. I normally prefer a roomy medium size bag like the Iena PM or SpeedyB25. I have to say I kinda prefer the longer strap of the Neo BB to the shorter strap of the PM but that is not a dealbreaker though. Hope this helps a little.

I have the mylockme compact wallet and have used it for several months inside small and big bags like the Neverfull and no scratches.
Agreed! The PM size is more a classic for Alma. BB size is good for day and night and mini bags are trendy at the moment. For dressier events, a Chanel flap may be better... just my preference. I did order both sizes, Neo Alma PM and BB but decided to go for the PM size. Actually, I bought an Alma bb in epi noir but exchanged for this Neo Alma noir after I saw them online as brand new designs. I'm glad I made that decision just in time... it is beautiful and practical

I know this is a year old post but I’m considering buying the alma and just came upon your beauty and had to mention that I LOVE her! Hope you’re enjoying her!
Hi...I still love the bag. I haven’t used her as much this fall/winter simply because of the pandemic and I’m not going out often. I actually sold a few bags this year (mostly YSL’s) but when I see the Alma in my closet I just know she’s a forever bag. It’s the perfect size, classic, and I still swoon when I see empriente. It’s not in your face LV but you know it’s an expensive handbag. I also love that it didn’t become super popular so I’ve never see the bag on anyone else. I hope you can find one. It’s really one of my most favorite bags. Also I change the twilly on her handle so I can get totally different looks. Good luck!
