I literally just put it away for spring, so I used it daily from October to March. Love it! It might be my favorite bag yet, and I saw they have a new light color (Mist) that intrigues me. Perfect size and so soft. I did get a shorter strap for it, which I prefer. No issues with wear and tear. I say go for it!
That is good to hear! Yes, the Mist color is beautiful as well, especially for Spring/Summer! I actually thought of getting that, but I feel the Chocolate would be more versatile for me. Thanks for responding!

For anyone that has or had the older Mahina bags what are your thoughts on how it compares to the newer leather bags now? Is the quality about the same or less? I want to get a Muria but part of me is I’m stuck on the older smooshy mahina.

Bumping this up because I got a Muria yesterday. I went in to look at 2 other bags, neither of which were for me, and stumbled across this beauty! It’s a new limited edition color, it’s so pretty in real life. The mahina leather is , soft yet I don’t think I will have to baby it because of the color. I tried to take some pictures and compared it to my Neo Noe, which is similar in size, the Muria being slightly smaller. It does have feet which is a nice change from the NN. The braided handle is awesome, the wide strap, not so much, it’s very stiff and very long (which might be good for some, but I’m short lol). I might get a bandolier strap. Anyway I love this bag and it smells so good!View attachment 4867762View attachment 4867763View attachment 4867764View attachment 4867765View attachment 4867766
Hi, how is your beauty holding up? Is it easy to get things in and out? Sorry for Qs, I'm considering and it will be a final sale, so I want to make sure it'll work for me:smile:

I have sold my Muria in Galet after a few months. The braided handle isn't comfortable to wear on the arms, (it hurts!), the corners are very sensible and for me it isn't practical to go in and out of the bag.
So for me the Muria is only a nice bag, but it's just not practical for me.

I have 2 Murias, black and the chocolate brown (name escapes me atm). They are my most used bags. Similar in size to Neo Noe. I use pouches/cosmetic bag inside my bags and everything I carry- zip around wallet, key pouch, sunglasses case, AirPods Pro, phone, small Truffle clarity pouch, and. truffle small cosmetic fit with no bulging or spilling out of the top. It is weighty for size with all of those things inside. It’s easy to pop items in and out, but I believe organization is key for max usefulness. My black one is most used of the two and after about 2.5 years it’s holding up well with no noticeable wear/tear. Longer strap can go crossbody, but I find it sort of wonky for my body shape and height- 5’7” and a size 10-12.

Am interested in getting this - Do you still uses this bag? How is the wear and tear now?
