I think it looks fine from certain angles (overhead and at an angle). But if you look up close, it’s pretty off. Then again, literally everything else is perfect and it’s Made in France. I’m not sure I should even try to exchange it/return and re-buy because what if I don’t get MiF?

Also, wanted to note that it looks like the Ontario location that mine shipped from was just a warehouse. There was another label on there that said it was originally from NJ. All of our PSMs are cousins!

I honestly can’t see anything wrong with it... Actually I don’t usually get these alignment issues at all, as I very rarely see any issues. Enjoy your pretty bag! This in on my wishlist too.

The front on yours looks very similar to mine. Also made in france. It's pretty much perfect. Maybe it's harder to get it looking exact when its 2 different coloured prints. I've really enjoyed using mine so far in the 2 weeks I've had her.

I agree with the others, it looks perfect to me ! That’s hardly noticeable, I legit had to zoom in and even then I’m pretty sure I forced myself to find the misalignment haha enjoy her ! Especially if everything else is perfect and she’s MIF☺️

You make such a great point. I didn’t even think about the fact that it’s reverse and that the sizing of the monograms themselves might literally be the negative of the original. Thanks for sharing that! So glad to hear how much you’ve been loving your bag!

Here's my journey with my PSM:
1) Purchased my first one online - MIF! perfect front. Horribly aligned, asymmetrical back. Returned online
2) Purchased second one online - MIU - misaligned front, perfect back. Returned in store
3) Purchased in store - MIU - almost perfect front, perfect stitching, perfect back. The slight misalignment in front (VERY slight) continued to bother me so I just returned in store.

Hoping to get a MIF. The SA at the store said that the supply chain for ones ordered online are different from the stores. I wonder if it's easier or harder to get a MI Europe one online? We'll see. I really should have ordered at least 2 to compare then send back. Taking a gamble and waiting for delivery each time. Also since I do plan to start my collection and possibly pass down to my children I'd love for it to be perfect.

Ordered feb 3. Got it 2 days later. Shipped from Ontario, CA. Made in Texas. Alignment is good but I had my heart set on a made in Europe one. I’ve seen a made in Europe one (didn’t have good alignment at the front pocket) but the stitching and quality seemed different. The glazing is better, the stitching and the quality of the front tabs. The handle is also centered on the ones made in Europe compared to MIU. Thinking of returning and hoping for one that’s made in Europe and well aligned will show up in my life.

Previously had a reverse PSM made in USA with the cloth tag. Had defects so I took it back and now received a PSM in Mono. It has a leather tag and date code starting with TX, but I don’t see a “made in” tag anywhere. I looked everywhere in the bag. How can I tell where it’s made?

I believe date code starting with TX means made in Texas, USA. If it's made in Europe then the "made in ____" will be written under the Louis Vuitton on the tag. Only the USA ones do not have that.

I went to compare the PSM and Montsouris BB yesterday, and they handed me a MIF PSM. Its pretty much perfect ( mine has a lil hump on the back, but it doesn’t bother me. Hell, I have a lil hump on my back too LOL) I of course did not want to give it back at that point. I think the other only noticeable thing is the stamp on the tab is the slightest bit tilted, but thats ok with me!

Just ordered my FIFTH one online. This one is still SLIGHTLY off in the front and back but I think I'm fine with it. Obsessing over it is not good for my mental health.
