My SA says there is a new love bracelet coming out that is the same size as the classic and the only difference is it opens on a hinge to make on/off easier.

I just texted my SA and release date is October 1st for the new love bracelet with hinge and open/closure. He told me it is not recommended to take off and on often, so prob some cons to it, but i take on and off my pave love often.
So this a totally different topic regarding the medium love! I will be seeing my SA tomorrow and will ask if I may take pics and videos and post a new thread tomorrow if i am ONLY allowed to take pics and vids. Thanks

@Swanky Once all is confirmed, perhaps we should rename this thread “New Hinged Classic-Size Love bracelet”?
I would think it's the same issue as with the SM Loves that the screw wears out if opened too often ... but I like the possibility to occasionally take them off for cleaning for example.
It’s too bad if they’re going to still use the screw system. There are those of us who like the love but can’t wear bangles at night and don’t want to have to use a screw to take the bangle off every day. Screwing the bangle on and off constantly def wears down that screw mechanism.
Actually the whole purpose of wearing the love bracelet is to have to your soul mate put the bracelet and screw the screws on. Almost like a ball and chain lol. Once screwed on it is supposed to signify the love your partner has for you for eternity or until you divorce 🥺 plus the screws are not meant to be screwed on and off multiple times as the screws are gold and will wear down!
So how does Cartier tackle this?

According to customer service….The medium size love will launch in October and will require a screw driver, not a button opening like the pave. For now it will not come with diamonds. It will come in YG, RG and WG. No price disclosed yet.
I must imagine it will be the same price as the classic if the only difference is the mechanism. But maybe they'll use the opportunity to raise the price?

I will be very interested to see the width of this new one compared to the original and the narrow version. Especially for anyone who stacks the size with something else. The original looks great standalone and both current ones add nicely to stacks.

I went into the boutique to meet my SA for the new medium hinged love bracelet and it is 1.5 size of the small love bracelet. The closure is supposed to be better as the locking mechanism will lock it only by half a turn clockwise. So you are unable to turn the screw 360 in either direction. I really liked the look as it did not look danty and you are able to see the screw motif. I took pics but my SA asked me to not post till October 1st. So i do apologize in advance and that i want to have a good relationship with my SA! Thank you.
