Why OMG??

Because it's a lot of money for most of us to pay for something so "trendy." Plus, we can get a FEW bags for that price.
For example, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if it were half the price but I'd never pay almost 4k for it. For those prices, I'd rather buy a classic Suhali Le Fab bag. I know I'd get my use out of one of those, wheras I'd only use the fringe one a few times.
Plus, they're hard to come by at the moment and are currently on the $5000-$6000 (U.S. dollar) range on ebay right now. Way too much money for most of us.
