IMO, I saw three versions and did not like any of them. It has the look of liquid metal and it shows EVERY fingerprint. You'd be constantly wiping it down all the time. It really wasn't that special. I did not write the prices down but they were high considering....I will still with my original J12.
^ This is the perfect description of the new J12. I think that is what bothered me about it. I personally don't like the titanium-ceramic hybrid. I would rather have it be all ceramic or all metal. And I would rather have a beach house!

LOL Yeah, for the all diamond version and the market right now, you may be able to fund that house.

Oh Gosh, these chromatic J12s look amazing in real life. The colors do not convey well in pictures, you got see them in person!
And you can see the difference between these and stainless steels from far away. It has this special darkish and varying hue depending on ambient light and reflections. Very unique indeed.

Nothing ever happens with J12s (except you can shatter the crystal, of course
White J12s sometimes collect dust between links, that you can easily clean with dishwashing liquid and toothbrush (careful with spilling water on the case, of course). Same cleaning procedure works for black J12 as well. Good Luck!
Well, not exactly! I've had mine 5 years - wear it constantly - and it is still white. However, a few years ago I dropped it on marble and the right top corner of the crown broke off! The happy part is, that since it's ceramic, an entire new crown only cost about $80 to replace at Chanel!
Are those the new titanium watches? Saw them the other day in Chanel and they reminded me of hematite - that volcanic stone you see in cheap jewelry all the time. Not good. I much prefer the black or white ceramic!

Yeah, both are grey, well, like most metal..... that's where the similarity ends.
OTOH, the brilliant shine and the unique hue of the chromatics are pretty special, and look nothing like hematite, IMHO.

While I was looking at them, I found myself wiping off my fingerprints. IDK, I just did not get that heart flutter. Did not do it for me. I have a black chrono J12 and it looks so much better IMO. It's definitely a watch to see IRL. Even my SA disliked it.

Actually, they are more ceramics than Titanium. The Titanium powder was added for the metallic finish / color, and the hardness (it is almost as hard as sapphire, and scratch proof). The case and the bracelet are titanium ceramics, only the dial face is pure titanium.

Everyone has something that calls to them. I used to have the white. I sold it to fund the black. I need to wear it more. 
Mea culpa. I knew that. I should have said titanium-colored. They would be much more expensive if they were pure titanium.
No offense meant to anyone that likes it. I adore the J12 - one of my all time favorite watches - it just reminded me of hematite.
