Yes, the Hamilton Traveler is a full zip top. That's one of the major differences compared to older, larger Hamilton NS tote which only has a single magnet. Good luck!

Oh! You're right - I just examined the online close up photos using your link. Be aware that the MK bags sold in Europe might be different although from the exterior, the MK Hamilton Traveler looks identical otherwise BUT I see a single magnetic closure.

I saw yet another variation of the MK Hamilton Traveler at Selfridges website (I think) and it was altogether similar but different from the Hamilton Traveler sold in North America.

Does this link work for you? Can you see the difference/similarities BUT this model has a full zip top closure. Perhaps you can phone the store first before being disappointed and driving all the way to the MK boutique? I wonder why they do this and make different variations for various markets? For a small-med size bag such as this, I would insist on a full top zip myself.

This style has become my FAVORITE MK bag so far. I just picked up the luggage color and just ordered the black with gold hardware. Dare I say that I love it more than my selmas? I really like the leather and the bigger size is definitely a good size...not too big, not too small. I will post pics when I've got my third Traveler here. I'm hoping for a nice red and maybe a taupe color in the future.

It definitely needs more tender loving care than the saffiano leather handbags, but there is something to be said for soft leather. My Miranda is my only soft leather MK bag, but it's gorgeous and it's nice to have at least one bag that's soft and supple to carry around.

Can't imagine it puddling like the other hamiltons.. when I held one at the store it seemed like thicker, semi-structured leather.

The traveller is sold in Europe, and it has the zipper, not the magnet lock.

The Hamilton Traveler is not your typical unstructured leather tote. It shouldn't puddle, but care will need to be taken along the edges for wear and tear.

This is my next MK bag!!

Love the color, design & leather!

They had it styled without the lock and it looked so good!

I can't wait to get it!
