Classics get white dustbag. That include Reissue 224-228 (not really sure about 224 since it doesn’t always come by) and classic flap small-maxi. Minis unfortunately are not considered classic. They come by season, for examples 20B, 21C, etc for mini CF and 20A, 20K, etc for mini reissue. Classic’s tag would have REV on it.

That’s pretty poor service for a bag of this calibre. Like @Iana24 said I thought reissues come with a white dust bag but to give you a shoe dustbag is not good. Hope you get a proper dust bag. I always buy extra felt now so I can store my bags properly with care.
Hey that was me. I buy my felt in rectangles from a local craft type shop that sells cards etc. I buy lots for about 50 pence or 50 cents to most of you or I buy packets for about a couple of pounds. I get black, white, grey and sometimes colour match my bag and buy little crystal embellishments. I am so sad! LOL but it makes me happy. I can then ensure my bag is adequately protected and put one underneath and on top too. I know my little babies are sleeping nicely then

By the way how full do you stuff your bags while stored? I always struggle with how much to stuff.. too little > structure loss, too much > stretching of the leather and eventually structure loss as well lol
Just to clarify, I am not saying that I should be getting a classic white dust bag. Minis are considered seasonal and it comes with a black dust bag. What I received is not a typical handbag dust bag. I attached a photo you can see it’s really thin and has shoe lace kind of drawstring. And the size is so small and if I put the bag in the dust bag it fits tight so I can see the turn lock shape from outside. The next photo is what I expected to get which is what I got when I bought red reissue mini. With black ribbon and thick dust bag that you cannot see through. Also big enough to not compress the bag when I store it.

I heard they're reducing the amount of tissue paper used in packaging to be more environmentally friendly. Apparently, the new Chanel shopping bags (for your to carry your purchase) is also more enviro friendly.
It's almost like they ran out and used a shoe dust bag... or these are the new / environmentally conscious dust bags they will be using going forward?

Yeah you got a shoe bag and they were hopeful they would get away with it cheeky buggers that they are. Glad you pulled them up on it and hope they send you out an appropriate dust bag soon Xx

Maybe they were out of stock of the white dustbag when she wrapped up your purchase. I would go back and ask them to give you one with the cleaning cloth too.

Do you watch LindieSs YouTube channel? She did an unboxing today where she bought two of the Rainbow Minis and one bag had the white dust bag and the other had a dust bag like yours. So strange! I’ve never seen the “shoe dust bag” being used for a bag before until that video and your post.

the dust bags that she got in addition to the classic dust bag are normal handbag dust bags and thats what expect. I do not really need the classic dust bag. What I got is not the same as what she got. Mine is really for a shoe or espadrille and it’s really small. If you check the second pic I posted in my original question you will see what I mean.
