Is there such thing as too much bling?...lol. I really loved the idea of putting this halo ring next to my existing wedding band, but a few peoples reactions gave me the impression that it is tacky or too much since my wedding band is rather wide/ blingy. Ps. The diamond I purchased is a 1/4 ct bigger than the one in this setting and I have worn my wedding band as a stand alone piece until now.... Any thoughts from my fellow jewelry lovers???

I love it, but then, I love diamonds and "too much bling" is not something I can comprehend.. I think it looks really beautiful but in the end, you have to go with your gut on this. If YOU love it, then go for it!

^You are right that I shouldn't care what others think. I think the reason it got to me and made me doubt my choice is because my style is usually a bit more understated. Thanks for the compliment :)

And honestly, I wish the darn sample ring wasn't so small cause that is the farthest it would go on my finger!

I personally think that a band that matches the shank of the ering would look better next to it. It's not too much bling but the band is too much for the ering. Overwhelms it.

Do YOU like it?

i dont think its too blingy but i do think its too busy. i like constrast. your stone is stunning and i think it would stand out more without the halo and just diamonds on the shank. I love bling so its not that but i am very into the whole package--my 2 cents

I'll be honest, I do like it, but it IS my second choice for a pairing (the wedding band, not the diamond ring) First choice would be to wear with a narrow wedding band but both my husband and I are sentimental and changing the wedding band is not an option. I also have a ring on my right hand that I am very sentimental about, so that ruled out my idea of wearing them on opposite hands. Both pieces are my FIRST choice individually, but not my first choice as a pairing....:thinkin:
