I recently had the opportunity to get a few SLG's one in January a large classic flap and then a zippy card holder in February i just want to have them for my collection, but i want to buy another SLG to be exact the classic flap card holder in small. Apparently because my SA had a mistake in my account it appears that I have bought 2 of the zippy coin card holders and i think that's causing the issue in my account. Sadly I just found out that Chanel limits 2 items per month, but even if I have does 2 items I should be able to make at least another purchase this month. They have the flap card holder here in Saks in Michigan but they won't aloud me even as today to get it. It seems really weird because i spoke to someone over the 1800 chanel number and they told me they should let me proceed today, I did explain them but the manager won't do it. Did anybody ever had an issue like this before, is neiman marcus under the same system because most of my purchases are from NM not Saks, does that had something to do???? What is the time to wait to make another SLG purchase.

I believe that Chanel has now taken over all the department store boutiques. For years they wanted access to the department stores client information.

12 bags total, 12 accessories total, 12 SLGs total, 40 cosmetics/fragrances total ALL ACROSS THE CHANEL NETWORK in the US.
I feel bad for the actual collectors, but I guess Chanel had to do this to rid of the greedy resellers. Also, I know of ACTUAL collectors who buy more than 12 bags a year and I wonder if Chanel will secretly give an exception to their VIP clients.
Not sure though if the 40 pcs limit on cosmetics, skincare, fragrances is a good idea.

Such a good step against resellers ❤️ but am sure collectors and people who do not live near a will be affected!
Hopefully this makes supply more fair for those of us who are not resellers. Sadly, it seems to me that resellers would find a way around it; create different IDs, use a friend’s / family member’s limit etc.
Wow.. that’s still generous allowance. In the uk it is 1 bag every 2 months.
Any steps are welcome after the absolute **** show of the last couple of seasons. Personally I'll not be buying 12 Bags per year anyway unless I hit lotto...lol.
I agree that the 12 bags per year will not affect me. However Chanel is also getting rid of the reserve list. How am I supposed to get the bag I want now? Do we have to line up in front of the store on the release date like Asia and Canada? Chanel is not even release everything on the same day. Does anyone have an insight?

While I don’t buy 12 Chanel bags per year, I do get bags reserved for me months before they come out. So yeah, removal of reserve list is going to be a problem for me.
The 12 isn’t an issue for most people but I hope its just counted annually. I could fall for 3 in one collection and sit out a couple collections so any monthly limit would impact a lot more people...
I hope the rules are changed as well. I think 12/year had always been the case but my normal SA had always told me 1 classic per month. I'm not sure if that is still the case or was ever the case. The rules are applied so inconsistently when they are applied. I've purchased 2 medium CFs in a month before.
Yeah the ONLY thing that changed is that you can't do the 2 per month / 12 per year. Only 1 per month, 6 max icons per year (which was already in place..)
