i had a bit of a prob with my pain tube...wore it on a necklace and when i got home the black JC shield at the back was gone!!! you can see a very faint outline but...now i feel like i need to find another one!!!

^I don't get the fascination with hello kitty... It's a little juvenile to me, especially on bags and clothes. Cute, but it's so hard to be taken seriously when you're wearing it lol. I mean, the preschoolers near where I stay carry stuff like hello kitty...
I loved the story about the whale & hello kitty though. Adorable! The whale is absolutely TDF.
Well, first off it's off-topic, and not all of us are dying to see it... But whatever floats your boat, I guess. For me, it might have something to do with the fact that a loved one of mine had a near-death experience with a leopard. Anyway from a neutral point of view, the leopard print has a lot of potential to be chic, but too much just looks tacky and cheap. Like someone had too much leopard for lunch and puked it all over the walls, KWIM? Well in this case, puked it all over GLL's pig. No offense meant though GLL. It's a cute pig.

i think most of the regular posters in this thread are pretty passionate about what they like/collect, and we enjoy sharing our obsessions with each other. like someone said, it takes all of 2 seconds to skim past a post that you don't want to read.
i am not into hello kitty either, and neither does leopard print suit me - but i still enjoy posts from others sharing pictures they have painstakingly taken for us to view.

My friend had the paint/surface(?) of hers rub off. I'm not sure about the shield though. This has happened to one of my charms as well because I wear them so often!

but yeah I totally get what you mean? Just expressing my opinion. I posted cuz the thought just suddenly occurred to me. I'm sure you can try to understand why it can become annoying to get past tons of irrelevant posts about kids, husbands, leopard and random stuff to get to the charm talk.

There are things I don't necessarily "get" but I respect people's likes & dislikes.
I don't have a fascination with Hello Kitty (in fact I only have 1 item) but I do like the one that was shown with the whale & am interested in it.
As far as "off-topic", I am sure all of the forums have that occur and I scroll past anything not of my interest.

I've been on a kinda charm binge, LOL, and bought several new charms I'd been looking at. I've been trying to hold off the urge to buy a new bag I saw recently, and as often happens when I try not to buy something, I wound up spending money anyway. Plus, I have another excuse, there's also the frustration that a couple of my pre-orders for charms are taking their sweet time getting shipped.
I did get the pink princess carriage charm that I had pre-ordered ages & ages ago. Wow, is that beautiful & detailed. Much nicer IRL.

I absolutely love charm binges! Glad to hear you got the carriage. I have both the silver and pink/gold ones and try to love them equally, but the gold one wins me over more than half the time.
