dragonette - Hmm, it's hard to tell. My pics of the takeout box are old and not that great. And unfortunately I have a billion and one things going at the moment and can't snap more. If the take-out box was on top on the charm stack I'd be able to, but it is somewhere buried amongst 200 other charms. I bought mine from Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus last summer, so I can tell you the pics of mine are authentic! Sorry, I know that's not that much help!

tuptake, i can see from your pic that the word "enjoy!" is more centralised like ours too... which means the authentic ones can have different placement of words?

that INSMK seller has the 'Fairest of all' bracelet for sale minus the frog, carriage, and pegasus. It only has the silver heart, knight, and the choose juicy thing. So im sure we're going to see the missing ones sold as the regular full-sized ones. Jerk. Oh and they also have the gold buddah and gold panda. Authentic my booty! i just noticed that they also have the silver panda too. How can you have them both and seriously call them both authentic?!

Annnd this little guy deserved his own post! I bought him yesterday and picked him up today...I was hoping to get him with a discount at S&Co. or another site but he's so hard to find right now, I didn't want to take a chance on missing out!

So here's Mr. Panda!! He's soooo cute in person!

thanks so much LVBD! gosh this is too tough... i somehow think that the ones from you, tuptake and shesaid look much neater than mine. but i see that the placement of the words is not an indication. has anyone had any experience with wwwabbit?

^I really wouldn't use that as an indicator of authenticity though, because when charms open and close, they tend to look a bit different.
Like with my whale, the mouth doesn't close so well and the little pointy part that would normally snap into the hole is skewed off to the side whereas the other ones I've been seeing are placed better.
It looks good to me and to be honest, I haven't ever seen a fake takeout box that is totally spot on, most of the time there is something with any charm that is a huge red flag, but I don't really get that from your takeout box at all.

Tuptake - ahh that sounds pretty sketchy, how can she forget to ship it out and somehow list it again under a new name? (that is assuming the worst from that seller..) That poor excuse from someone thats a "powerseller" just doesn't do it for me. I would just get my money back and take my business somewhere else!

Katierose - Wow thank you for the link!! I seen it this morning and thought I HAVE to have that! The heart clasp and pink shopping bag is TOO CUTE!
How do you wear so many charms!? The solid gold heart that comes with the necklace alone seems to be so heavy around my neck! It could just be that one though that seems like it's heavier than most charms.

Dragonette - eek sorry that your cake slice & ice cream weren't good. The charms on ebay seem so hard to comb through for authenticity, (at least to newbie me), even for the cheaper prices I'm so iffy. Even with the tagged boxed and all I had a small paranoia that my panda & whale might be fake :blink: However on the bright side I do have good news for you!

Darn I was hoping to use my charm catcher on my purses, I thought it'd be a good idea! but after reading your thoughts, you guys are right, it would be too easy to ruin the wiring or have it unexpectedly fall off!! I thought I would try it anyway but I constantly check my usual purse charms already...:hrmm: It's just not something I'd want to risk!

kayyle- Thanks! I love my little panda, I'm SO glad I got him...his green eyes are so cute. When I checked the store where I picked him up, there was only one left, unless they had more in the back. Either way, I didn't have to pay shipping so I'm happy about that. :p
