I've been looking at the checkbook forEVER for my mom. I'm watching one right now. It's really cute, I saw it in person awhile back.

As for the yorkie in the carrier, it's actually not. It seems like it would be because it's an older one, but I've seen that one quite a bit (last ebay ones that sold ended at $36 and $39). Also, I've heard of that particular one breaking a lot...like the little door that opens with the dog on it breaking off the charm.
I have that one and it's SO heavy, I rarely use it.

great info rebecca!! you're getting me all excited about receiving the check book!! lols. As for the green bag, i guess i wont be getting it.. it is not on my NEED list yet... and the heavinees sounds like a turnoff anyway.

i also ordered the teapot and teacup <3 i'm glad they have this in most of the outlets, it is crazy overpriced on evilbay.

does anyone have the checkbook and could take detailed pics for me? i ordered it today and i am not sure if i love it...

also, is the yorkie in the green carrier bag a highly sought after charm like i've read on the ebay websites? i found an out carrying it for $34.99, is it worth it?

I have the checkbook permanently attached to the NM bracelet. It's cute :D

I think the charms that retain the least value (and maybe even go down after awhile) are the bag charms, including the dog carrier ones. They stay the longest on the websites and don't sell for much on eBay.

i feel much better not ordering that dog carrier now... i mean i liked it, but i could live w/o it. At the same time though, i figured if it is a hard to find one, i should just get it first and then decide whether or not i wanted it. It was the only outlet out of all the others i called that had it, so i was tempted, lols..
dont ask but i dont know why i tend to like something less if it is easily accessible or like something a bit more if it is hard to find...

You're welcome!
Yeah the only reason I have one is because it came on my full charm bracelet. I was in a pinch once and thought about selling it because I figured, "Hey, an old charm, I bet this could bring in some money." Then I did a search and figured I would just keep it (I mean, it IS a cute charm and all, with the little doggy inside!) rather than part with it for such a small amount.

Congrats on the teapot/cup! My mom has the teacup on her bracelet right now, I was thinking of getting her the teapot to go with it too lol.

To me, it seems like the hardest ones to find are usually the animal charms, the Limited Edition charms, and the ones that are 2 years or older. BUT there are cases like Rebecca pointed out where people were paying top $ for that hot cocoa charm on eBay and then they showed up in outlets. I wouldn't buy into the eBay craze and I definitely wouldn't trust any auction that says their item is hard to find unless it really is the only one on eBay and has a lot of bids.

Also, do you guys know if the pave blowfish was ever on the Juicy site? I hadn't even heard of it until I was in the boutique and saw it. It makes me wonder if they always put the whole charm collection online or if some pieces only make it in to stores.

I never saw it on the site...I had only seen it on ebay and they were like, "rare, retired, blah blah."
But I had never seen it, and I still haven't seen it in any stores yet.
I'm not sure how they choose which to put on the site and which to not put on there.
It's weird, sometimes things are on the Neiman's site and some are on the Juicy site, even though they're coming from the same place. I remember that happening a couple of times.

That looks cute, ReRe!

ReRe your bag looks really cute with the charm hanging on it :)

Rebecca, do you have a Juicy boutique near you? I'm beginning to think that maybe some charms stay exclusive to the Juicy stores, like the pave blowfish. All the more reason to stalk the mall ;)

^Lol no! It makes me sad. All I have here is the outlet.
I went to Vegas last summer and went to the one in the Caesar's Palace Forum Shops but neglected to look at the charms.
I do know there are a few up north, but I rarely get up there anymore with the gas prices as crazy as they are.

Some days I'd trade in the regular boutique for an outlet!

Vegas was the boutique I normally hit up when I was in town until they built one here. I think all of the boutiques will ship anywhere within the US, I'll let you know if I see something in stores that isn't appearing anywhere else. :)

I know what you mean about the gas. It's cutting in to my summer fun :/

i think the website in general gets their items later than the boutiques.. i already had a boutique in atlantic city call me to tell me that they've received the skooter, hour glass and some other new charms which are still on preorder on the website...

And then there are those times when some charms havent even showed up on the website yet and they are already on ebay. Like before the skooter was on the website, i already saw 2 of them listed on ebay. and they werent stock photos, but photos of the actual charm.
