I am sooooo mad, someone did a BIN on both the slot machine and the elephant on the egg for only like $20 apiece. I clicked on it to buy them and they were gone already!!! ARGH. I wanted them for ME, not to resell, which is what I know whoever bought them is going to do. :cursing:

Anyway, that little rant aside, I did manage to find, through much searching of a lot of random sites, a watermelon and the dartboard. So yay.

OMG . :wtf: Lucky you found the watermelon. I guess they prob only had one too huh ? Congratulations !
Your right I bet It was one of the darn sellers that buys the charms just to re-sell them. :cursing: That makes me mad too.

Yeah I know! I was happy! Now as long as everything ends up ok with it, I'll be even happier lol.
But uuugh. I wanted that slot machine...my mom has wanted that one and the roulette wheel ever since she found out that they really work.
Siiiigh. That's the second time this year I missed a great deal on one, just by a minute or two. :crybaby:

I saw that, Rebecca. Maybe it was a good thing you didn't get them.. for the amount of Juicy that they sell (they currently have 140 for sale!) I find it hard to believe that they underestimated the value of those 2 charms by THAT much. They also have at least 200 fb within the past 3 weeks for Juicy items.

Especially since if they had set it to bid only instead of adding a BIN they probably could've fetched a minimum of $100 a piece.

I'm not saying they sell fakes, but I think it's weird, at the very least, for them to have that much JC for sale at those prices. :confused1:

Yeah, I think you're right...I hope you're right, anyway lol. I'm going to keep telling myself that so I don't feel like I totally missed out. It'll be interesting to keep checking back to see if the people who bought them resell them, I remember the pics were pretty fuzzy.

they might be using another account to increase their feedback??? but i also think that it was weird for them to underestimate the prices of the charms if they're an experienced seller.. oh well, you got a watermelon!!! which sites did you search? i try to randomly search every night too, but i always get the same hits. (everything cedes mentioned in the "where to findJC charms" thread.

Pics of the 2 charms when they arrive!!!

Whoever bought them, I hope really wanted them and doesn't screw some other collector out of hundreds of dollars on eBay.

Sorry you missed out on getting stuff you've been looking for, though. :( I found my elephant charm at Adasa, of all places. I'm still sad that they closed.

Definitely, sweet_pees!
I looked up so many things, I think it was something like "buy Juicy Couture charm" or something like that. I used Google too since they tend to get more hits...I usually use my AOL search but it has been SO slow to load items lately.

Cedes- Yeah I hope not either...that would be terrible.
Ugh I know what you mean about ADASA! I bought only ONE item from them a couple of years ago; they were having a sale on their Tarina Tarantino stuff since I don't think they were carrying it anymore. I ended up getting my first piece, a little ring, for only $15!

Oh and I went to Bloomie's today and I saw the jacket in person...it's SO cute, I'm going to have to have that one too. :p
My next 4 I think will be the jacket, chocolate covered strawberry, bucket of seashells and the movie reels. Oh and maybe the paint tube. Argh.

WHat?! Adasa closed? I've ordered from them a few times and love how they package their items. And the pretty cards they send with their packages too. I remember my first online purchase of 7FAM jeans was through them! :crybaby:

Yeah :( Their website was sold to couturecandy.com which is now run out of California, I think, and all of their retail locations are gone.

I'm not sure why they closed.. I know a LOT of people ordered from them constantly. It sucks, they always sent me my stuff within a day tops since they were local. :/

I just got back from a trip to FL and on the way convinced hubby to let me stop at the JC outlet in Hilton Head so that I could check out the charms. I scored the pave pear which is adorable IRL, the teapot to go w/ my tea cup charm, and the taxi w/ red crystal tail-lights. I had never seen the taxi IRL and it was so cute that I had to buy it. I was amazed at the amount of detail on it also. Here are a few pics.
