Neverfull - Uncomfortable?

Given how thin the straps are, I would like to hear from owners of this bag on whether the straps become uncomfortable fairly quickly. Do they dig into your shoulders? And do they slip off easily such that you need to reposition them all the time? If I got this bag, I would wear it on my shoulders (not hand carry). I would need to carry items such as wallet, keys, water bottle and some baby stuff. All in all, I don't carry a lot (no books, mags) but I am all about comfort. Oh, and it's the GM size that I'd get. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I am all about comfort too. I don't carry alot but the Damier Ebene Neverfull MM straps were so uncomfortable for me. They dug into my shoulder. The Neverfull style is gorgeous but not for me.

I would say to each his own. I have the GM and though it does dig into my shoulder(when the bag is loaded) it doesn't reali bother me. The only thing that bothers me is the sag in the bag, especially when you are carrying alot of heavy stuffs. :)

I have a Neverfull MM and the straps don't bother me and I carry a ton of stuff! However, I have heard complaints of the thin straps digging in & hurting some peoples shoulders. Everyone's different!

Hi
Could you let me know if you still use this bag and if you still find it comfortable ?
Thank you

I used my neverfull almost every day since the pandemic started. I don't find it uncomfortable but it can feel heavy (like any other bag) if you put too many stuff inside. I got to pilates and take a 32 ounce water bottle, a towel and another towel like mat plus wallet, keys and sunglasses. I look like I am homeless carrying my house everywhere . . So when it is heave it can be uncomfortable but it does not have to be. I have also traveled with it and it is the best!!

I think any overloaded bag would hurt the shoulders. Thin straps will of course exacerbate that. I have the MM and GM. I use the GM for travel, and if I overload it, it can be uncomfortable. But I really have to pile it in for that to happen. I love the bag SO much! I would not recommend this bag for a laptop. I would think that would be uncomfortable unless you plan to hand carry.

I bought the GM for the sole purpose of using it for travel and work and to put my laptop, water bottle, and a small lunch bag. I put everything in it and tried it, was shocked on how heavy it got and it also started hurting my shoulders in just a few mins. I am returning it and maybe getting a MM instead. But I am now hesitant as I think it is the strap which is the main culprit. I also own a Graceful MM and even with the laptop and the same amount of stuff, it doesnt feel heavy at all and the wide strap is very comfortable. Although everything gets a little crammed. I really want to like the Neverfull but it just doesnt work for my weak shoulders.
