I called to ask as well and the CS rep told me that there wasn't a way for her to know when I would receive the gift card... or how much. Guess I' ll just have to keep checking my email. if anyone receives their gc from the late October/early Nov event, please let us know

Was that the one with the 20,000 bonus point offer? Or am I thinking of the September event? Whichever one that was I just received the gc a few days ago. As for this one, I would be shocked if we get it by Dec. 21--that would be awesome since the $300 would be nice for after xmas sales, but given how long they have taken on the previous gc's, I'm not holding my breath.

I had one and my mom had one emailed to her address. I was able to use both on my account.
actually, this is what CS told me about returns/exchanges:
Belinda Holder: If an item on the order is returned to us with the exchange request for another of the same item with just a change in either size or color, then the exchange will still apply towards the order promotion gift card amount.
Belinda Holder: If the item is returned, say in the store and a new one ordered, it would not count towards the order and would be considered a return.
Just found out through livechat that my October gift card will be issued out on the Dec. 21st. I think they have some sort of tier for when they send it out like email alphabetical order or order placement date? But for those that are still waiting, I highly recommend going through livechat to find out the exact amount and date you'll receive your long-awaited GCs! "Free" goodies here I come! 
Just talked to someone on online chat as well. they were way more helpful then the person i spoke with on the phone. They confirmed dec 21st for me as well and the correct amount for the giftcard. Dec 21st can't get here sooner....
Don't they have to wait a certain number of weeks before issuing the gc's? I don't think it's based on names or anything, but rather time, to ensure most returns have gone through. I think the assumption is that after 6-8 weeks most people have made their returns.
Does anyone know the next NM GC promotion? I would like to know as well. When do they usually have their GC promotion?
