Negative experience ordering from Dior online

I ordered from the Dior website and everything was perfect. I don't know if all orders come in Dior boxes. Personally, I tend to select the gift option (for bag purchases), so I know my items will come nicely packaged.
Hi there. The box I received with my bag was goregous and it was the Christmas packaging since I purchased my Dior Lady ABC bag in November, 2021. If you are getting your bag now, hopefully the Christmas packaging is already available. It's was a thick nice white box with a gold print design on the box. It has a lid cover that flushes with the base (I believe). Mine was packaged so lovely and it arrived with no damage to the packaging or the bag. The decorative box will be shipped in a brown shipping box so it will be safe. I ordered my Lady Dior from the Dior site and had no problem. The great thing about ordering online (unless things has changed) is that if you do not like the bag, you can return the bag by mail and get a full refund. Some boutiques will allow you to do an exchange with your order but not a refund. If you purchase inside the boutique, all sales are FINAL. NO RETURNS, not even store credit (i believe), so there are benefits to purchasing online. Last year they had a price increase right after I made my purchase! Whew! Just about 2 weeks later my same bag with the same hardware went up by $500. If I recall correctly, the all metal charm version went up by $700. I purchased the version that has enamel on the edges of the charms. I'm not sure when or if a price increase is coming soon but try not to wait too long.
Oops correction! I meant the charms are enamel with gold exposed metal on the edges...so it's reverse of what I said! Lol. Sorry!

Yes, the color name is actually Beige.
It has beige enamel charms with gold tone metal exposed on the edges. At the time of purchase in 2021, the Lady bag with my enamel charms had suede interior and the non enamel charms had the red fabric. As far as the all enamel charms I'm not certain what the interior is like.
Thats a good idea to choose the gift option, to be sure that the item will come nicely packed.
I was going to purchase this one today but they no longer have it. I was under the impression that it is one of their classic colors, thus was in no rush to get it. Even Dior.com does not have it.
Awww bummer! Which one was it? Do you have a picture? You can call Dior.com. Have you tried calling? You can call to see if they indeed have more. Sometimes items trickle in as they are made. You just need to find out if it is truly a discontinued color. If not just stalk the website and call customer service and your SA.I was going to purchase this one today but they no longer have it. Same as yours. Beige with enamel charms. I called the website but they just said that they did not have it nationwide. They never really have much information as they are not directly in the warehouse. My store has one (last week they had 5). Perhaps, they are just restocking but not sure. I will keep popping into the store as I would like to get it before another price increase.
Awww sorry! Well that happened to me as well when I wanted this beige one. Originally I ordered Warm Taupe online. It did NOT look like the color online. It was more neutral and darker too. I thought it would be like a warm nude at the lighter color it showed online but nope. I took it to my nearest Dior that is 1.5 hrs away to do an exchange but had to wat like 1 whole week for the Beige to come in. It couldn't be ordered for me as it wasn't available to ordee so I just had to stay on alert daily to call on their shipment (my SA is not very accommodating). I was nervous as I wasn't sure if the Beige was coming in before the price increase. Thankfully it did and I can't recall if the Dior boutique was going to allow me to do an even exchange IF the Beige came in after the increase. My guess is no. Lol. You know I'll send a text out to my SA to ask about the Beige, if it's in stock at his boutique or if he knows if it's discontinued or not and I'll let you know what he says. Are you in the USA? Perhaps you two can connect if he is able to help you. I'll reach out to him now.
Yes, I am in the USA. I went to the Dior boutique near me today and the SA I spoke with could not be more unhelpful lol. To every question I had, she responded, "I do not know" or "I am not sure." So that is that. I will just have to keep coming in to see what they got. I likewise looked at the Warm Taupe (I only want a bag with suede inside as it feels more luxurious) but that one was way too dark for me and will not settle for the polyester lining, which leaves me with less options. I also liked Hazelnut but they did not have that one either. I will also keep calling online.
