I have the black Burberry Medium Title bag (link). It is understated and fits my 13" Dell XPS laptop and provides good protection. I considered several other bags (Givenchy medium Antigona - too big and heavy!) but wanted a structured bag that closes at the top, didn't look too much like a briefcase and I can also use as a day bag without my laptop.

Hi, mine is the large tote size, which is the same size as the large nylon tote but in leather. I think it was only available at Nordstrom when I purchased it:
I use a Bao Bao Izzey Miyake handbag in matte black leather to carry my laptop for work. Large totes don’t look right with my body frame, so I looked forever for a smaller, streamlined option. I also did not want a recognizable brand or something too plain or too flashy. Anyway, the down side is that aside from my laptop, charger and miniature-sized essentials, it doesn’t fit much else. I’m not sure it was meant to be used for a laptop at all, but I’ve received a lot of compliments on it.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve bought a small Tod’s oboe in a beautiful light blue-gray, and think this is what I will use in the spring and summer. The bottom of the bag seems quite strong, my laptop is 12” and pretty light, and I’ll only be carrying it one day a week, so I won’t destroy the bag.

Scrap my previous post, as I spoke too soon. I was sure my laptop would fit, but alas, it does not . I’ll probably use my Cuyana backpack for now.
What bag do you use to carry your laptop, and how big is your laptop?
I am looking for a fairly classic/timeless but practical, comfortable, everyday bag that suits an office environment. It would be fun to find something ”designer” that ticks all the boxes!
I do have a backpack from Incase which is great, fairly neutral and, most importantly, practical, but I am now looking for something more stylish for days when I value looks over comfort, haha. It must, however, still be comfortable enough for everyday use while carrying the weight of a laptop.

I am shopping for one right now. I came across the Beis work tote and Beis mini tote and I like it cause it has a padded compartment for a laptop, lots of outer pockets and side pockets. It seems very practical. However, I kind of want a designer bag!
i can't decide if I want to wear my regular handbag and then carry a messenger bag with the handle/briefcase type thing to hold my laptop or go for one tote that will fit everything.

I know the Prada Galleria medium would fit my laptop so looking into that one.

Seems like we are looking for something similar. I see your dilemma, but I would buy something that fits all I need instead of relying on two different bags, but I don’t carry much so I don’t think that would be a problem as long as the bag is more than a laptop sleeve.
The Galleria is pretty. Did you try it on with a laptop in it? If so, how was the weight? Does it come with a shoulder strap?
I would also like to find something designer, preferably as ”timeless” as the Galleria, I did however check out the Galleria in specific many years ago but it was not the aesthetic for me.
