Need opinions on white bags

I like the Jacobs bag over the others. I saw the Kooba (not in white though) and didn't think much of it - a bit big for my taste. Nothing about the Rafe draws me in and that knot makes the strap appear almost fragile.

What are their price differences? If they are all in the same price range, and price is not a factor, then I agree with the majority ...are you looking for something fun and casual for weekends etc. or are you looking for something more conservative for work? Personally, I prefer bag #1 or #3 to the MJ. But I'm not very conservative when it comes to bags. :)

Ok, so I've decided I NEED a white/ivory bag and IF I decide against the Paddington (mostly because of $$) these are the top contenders. Tell me what you think:

Kooba

Is that the Lucy? I vote for kooba. SUch a functioning bag with lots of room.. and the leather is buttery soft and so light.

last year i bought a fantastic white bally and white bottega veneta bag...i think white bag are really pretty and i advice to go and look at these two designers. even the white darel bag is fantastic, i think they will do an embroidered one and i look forward to seeing it!!

Look at Greenie's thread for the darel bag. I contacted Marta as Greenie suggested and there were 3 botiques near me. I love Greenie's charlotte/drape bag which would also work well for you and the woman at the shop where Greenie purchased her's is very helpful. If you can't find her thread let us know.

pseub the kooba one is really stunning... did you find it on neiman marcus?
i live in london-rome so i cannot really help you with gerard darel outside europe bu check out the darel thread so you can find all the infos necessary. believe me, it is a great bag, the leather is perfect and the white simple one isvery beautiful. i am going to buy a white one, but i want to wait and see if they will make an embroidered white one, if not i'l buy the simple one!

I'm leaning toward the MJ myself...I probably wouldn't carry a white bag just schlepping around on weekends, so I'm inclined to go with something more classic.
