I was wondering if the price of the iridescent is the same as the classic black. I have the black jumbo but wanted to ask my SA to locate a pink iridescent jumbo CF for me but before I do that I wanted to be sure it's the same price... thanks for any info.

Talking bout leather structure and thickness, 19S is indeed thinner. 19C Chevron or Classic Black have bigger grains and more structured than ANY years... I love these!!! But NOT 19C Quilts, 18B, 18C, and even the elusive 17B Quilted red n grey were kinda “loose”. 18S was amazing and so was 17B Chevron. It really comes down to preference. But Chanel is just playing around with various materials. And it takes years/decades/never for them to create our dream combos
. So I’m just extra happy they finally made a whole line of iridescence!
To those still in a dilemma... if you love shimmery iridescence... definitely get it! I don’t think Chanel will repeat this unique series til ever
It's the same price, 6200 USD. BUT, unless I am mistaken, I think they are pretty much sold out everywhere...there are a couple on Fashionphile I think.
Yes, they are the same price as the CURRENT black Jumbos. But just in case you meant the same price as YOUR black jumbo... then depending on your country’s exchange rate, there might have been price adjustments/increases since you last bought the black.
I’ve been to several countries now, you MIGHT still get a lingering Pink Jumbo

This is exactly the bag I am planning to splurge on on Fashionphile. Now I am having second thoughts. I watched some unboxing YouTube videos and realised this has been the problem w iridescent series and also the base of the bag can get crumple quite easily along the sides.
I realize you posted a while ago, but has the creasing gotten worse with use? I’m thinking about buying a preloved iridescent woc but I don’t want an extremely delicate bag. What are your thoughts? I have never seen any piece from this collection irl, so your thoughts are appreciated.
I am not the person who started this thread, but I bought an iridescent blue classic flap in small last spring, and my bff bought the same color in the jumbo size. (We bought them at the same time in Paris).
Both of our bags are in excellent condition one year later, BUT keep in mind we don’t use them that often. We both have a lot of other bags we rotate using, and these 19S iridescent bags are especially important to us since we bought them at 31 Rue Cambon. But neither of us have had any concern or issue. The leather is definitely softer than any of our other caviar bags, but there has not been any structural problems, or wearing off of color on corners or any part of the bags.
So overall I would say that seasons leather needs care, but you don’t have to go overboard babying it. I have worn it out shopping and out to lunch, and have not done anything different than I do with any of my other expensive bags. And wow, the 19S Iridescents are just amazing! I actually just had to talk myself down from buying another 19S bag today! All the colors are just amazing, I would love to own them all, but am trying not to completely lose my mind.

Still doing great! I gave it a careful inspection just the other day, and it looks as beautiful as the day I bought it. No wear whatsoever.
