LOL, I just don't know which one to get. I guess I'll have to try them on and see! They are all so gorgeous. I didn't know they made the Leather in Medium! That might be tempting too.

I can't help you directly since my Carly is leather and it's a large, but in case anyone else is searching for info on cleaning the leather version, I thought I'd post. I have the camel one and noticed some dark blue colour transfer from my jeans the other day. It came right off with an unscented baby wipe. I had previously sprayed it with some generic brand leather/suede protector that I got at a shoe store, so maybe that helped.

With a baby on the way (and a trip to China to pick her up) I need a sturdy bag that will hold alot to carry on the plane!

Congratulations, by the way!!!

I thought the the fabric bags "water and stain repellant" treated by Coach? I only have one C bag and I have just wiped them clean with a damp towel. But they can be sprayed with fabric protectant.

Bethie,

Congrats on the baby! I think if you're going to be on a long plane trip, you may want to go with a large carly! You'll probably have paperwork, diapers, snacks and other goodies that you'll want to keep close at hand.

I've seen other tpf photos with notebooks, etc. and it still slouches very nicely.

Happy travels!:woohoo:

Oh yes, TejasMama, I forgot to mention that when I posted earlier! I agree that the large is a much better choice for what you need, Bethie. I tried out both the medium and large at the store with all of my junk, as well as everything I carry for my son, and the large was a much better fit. It's seriously like a bottomless pit...but like TejasMama said, it's so slouchy that it doesn't look big (well, unless you have it completely crammed right to capacity with bulky stuff like sweaters for the whole family - yes, I speak from experience on that one!).
