^ ^ i like the color in your pic *roussel* but the ones i saw at Bal London were much darker & the leather was v dry :(

roussel, That Automne pic you posted is GORGEOUS!!!

sep, Just last month when I was at Bal BKK, they had lots of Saddle in GH around. Not sure if this is an indication that Saddle might still be around at most of other places.

I have to see this IRL, I was really hoping it to be exactly as pictured, not darker. I can see the difference with the pics you posted Viki. And you could be right from the pic I got the leather looks kinda dry.

here's what Selfridges London had to offer in Automne, it did look a bit paler than Bal London's bags ( & their's could have been Saddle b/c their knowledge of colors was hopeless), it may just have been Self's lighting tho :shrugs:

Here's a spy pic of automne, i thought it was close to saddle but when the SA took a saddle bag to make a side by side comparison, i realized that saddle is much browner than automne. Compared with my truffle i had that day, 06 truffle is less orange and paler. I personnally like automne, the leather on the PT and day bags i've seen is really nice, thick, smooshy.:tup:

Del, That leather type sure looks(aged wood kind of texture) like my Saddle Work but from your picture, it sure looks like Automne are a few shades lighter & brighter.

Ok, I finally got to go to my Nordies and saw Automne IRL today and personally I like it. I haven't seen Saddle IRL so I dunno how to compare. So I am still set on getting the Automne work I was hoping for. Just noticed that the leather on the 09 bags are kinda dry, including the Automne city I saw. The Automne color is exactly like in Viki's pictures, so definitely darker than the pic I posted. I also saw Framboise, Blue Layette, Mandarin and Praline. Of all the new bags I saw, I liked the Framboise city RH, the Praline First, Automne city RH and most of all the Mandarin GSH wallet (I really like this and will definitely get one when I can). The praline first I saw is a bit darker than the Praline city next to it, so I really like that darker Praline city. I also saw 2 of the woven city bags, one with the praline trim, and one with the navy trim (which I think is officier). I tried to compare the navy/officier woven bag to the marine bags and officier has more violet tones which is prettier IMO. Interesting how the woven bags have so many pretty colors, magenta, mandarin, a darker praline more like sandstone, and a pretty green just like apple green (wish they make a bag out of this color soon).

Great! Charbon is a great color (especially for the Day bag), and Erica knows her bags (and her prices are good, too). I think you will be pleased. Don't forget pictures when you get it!

Ok girls, I'll be able to post pics on Monday when my NEW AUTOMNE COVERED HARDWARE MID DAY arrives!! I've been dying for Automne and my SA swears that this bag's leather is ME. :nuts:
