^ Is there anyway you can try it out? It really does feel nice on your face, but it seems there is some consensus that there's a possibility you might be between shades.

I've been using this for about 6 months now and it's definitely one of my favourite beauty products and I happen to find an exact match in terms of colors.

It gives more of a Satin finish (than Glow) and for a even more polished look, I finish off by patting on some NARS loose powder.

Some of my personal PROS and CONS about this product.

PROS
- Easy to blend
- A little goes a long way
- Light texture and smooth
- Provides a medium coverage, does not cake and you can layer it for a heavier coverage
- Doesn't oxidize or turn orange

CONS
- It does have a tendency to highlight dry patches on the face (however, I have combination skin and when my skin starts build its natural oils throughout the day -it just smooths away.)
- Packaging Peeve. It does not come with a pump and you have to pour it out and I have wasted a lot through that method

Hope that helps! =)

^ great review! I agree about both cons, it does acentuate some of my dry patches, but much less thean when I used Giorgio Armani foundation. That was a hot mess! And I agree about the packaging, but I think I heard they are going to start making it with a pump. That would be ideal!
Between this and Chanel Mat Lumiere, I have my holy grail of foundations!

^^I heard the reason that they don't use a pump is because research showed that people didn't shake the bottle when there was a pump and shaking helps keep all of the ingredients mixed.

Anyway, I love Nars foundation. It provides nice, natural coverage, while not feeling too heavy. I have some brown spots and feel it does a respectable job in covering those up (not completely, but does minimize the appearance). Also, this stuff has never made me break out!

Nars finally got a clue and has made pumps for their sheer glow/matt foundation. It's $6 and it's only available on the Nars site right now:cursing:. As I told you guys before I'm somewhere in between the shades Cadiz and Macao, I wasn't going to buy two bottles so I got a couple samples of Macao from my usual SA and poured it into my cadiz. Sounds like a lot of effort but this foundation is sooooo worth it. This just seems to work really well with my combination skin. I put it on and after a few minutes it's perfection. If I get really brave I will post a few pics of myself wearing it.

I purchased the pump from nars.com a couple of weeks ago. One thing about it though is that the cap won't fit over the pump once you put it on the bottle so it's not travel friendly at all! Save your cap and the inner cap if you purchase a pump for this foundation and plan to travel with it.

I have been tempted by the review of this foundation too, I use and love Armani lasting silk, I wonder how it compares... I have combo skin.. Anybody use both?

I have. I liked Armani better. I really wanted to like Nars Sheer Glow but it didn't last long on me and I got really oily :( It looked great in the morning but an hour later my face was shiny and oily and towards the end of the day, it looked like I didn't have anything on.

Do you have oily skin? Sheer glow is actually intended to give those with dry skin a dewy look. I have combination skin so I can get away with sheer glow and setting powder on my T-zone. You may want to grab a sample of sheer matte, this formula was too dry for me because as I said earlier I have combo skin. I tried Armani when I first got wind of the craze but it seemed to highlight my dry patches. Everyone's skin is different, it's just a matter of finding what works for you.

Yes, my skin is somewhat oily. I'll give Sheer Matte a try and see how it works for me. Thanks!

I ran out of primer a few days ago and decided to give it a whirl without my usual laura geller spackle primer. It didn't look as flawless as it usually does but it still looked nice. I'm running to macys to pick up more primer though.

I normally use the Sheer Matte in New Guinea which I love, but this week I used my sample of this foundation b/c the temps began to drop. I will say that I do like it as well. My skin looks flawless just like it does with the Sheer Matte, except the glow leaves a softer look. To me, the coverage is good and so is the lasting power of both formulas.
Tried to post a pic of me wearing it, but I don't know how to resize in order to post.
