Received my second nano speedy from online purchase and although the hardware is better (no glazing on hardware, rivets are right side up), the alignment is even worse with both side chaps not aligned to the zipper :hrmm:. Back to the drawing board.

The speedy is not a bandouliere, so that doesn't seem like a fair comparison. Probably the small size of the bag makes it more difficult to align perfectly with the zipper? I would not return my bag for this reason. Your bag doesn't seem "off" to me.

I don't think you should go down the rabbit hole on the alignment. It's not something you can see, and would you have noticed if you didn't watch her video? What happens if your next one has the rivets upside down or something else?

Funnily enough, my first one had rivets upside down and the zipper alignment issue. Its the sort of thing which, once I saw, I can't unsee.

Yeah, I saw that post. So that's what I'm saying, what if the next one is upside down? To me that's a bigger issue, since it's very visible. Did that Youtuber ever get a "perfect" one? Because it looks like this alignment is common: if you had two with the same alignment, I have one, someone else said theirs looks the same, and the youtuber had the same.

Do you have a point where you'll just return and not look for another?

I would actually not mind if I received a nano speedy with good zipper alignment but upside down rivets because I could have that repaired (which is what an SA recommended to me). I know everyone is different and some folks might not mind it but it's something that personally is not the best for me. I hope someone else is able to enjoy this bag.

Thanks! I was able to find a nano speedy I am happy with. In total, including the two I mentioned earlier, I saw 5 different nano speedys in person and all but one had the zipper alignment issue (but had other handle and piping issues). The one I kept had one zipper misaligned but no other issues. I'm glad to be done with my nano speedy saga and just enjoy the bag - its cute and packs a punch. :yahoo:
