I agree. I keep mine really short. My nail lady is always complaining because I want them filed below the tip of the finger. But they look best that way with dark or intense colors I think, much more chic.

My nail guy (yes a guy!) always says to me- "you need to
let me leave something to work with!" I don't bite my nails ever, but instead have them filed as sort as possible
My mantra is "short and square" when it comes to my nails-

This is fabulous on you! My new manicurist is always cutting my nails VERY short too because she believes it is very chic... She is quite a character and I absolutely adore her sense of humor. Best wishes!

I have a nail guy, too. Love him.
Always have to leave my nails mid-length because my nail beds are so weird ~ otherwise my hands look stubby. Yay for you ladies that can wear short nails.

I think she is right - my nail guy would like me to leave mine longer but he is knows I want short! My Manicure is the one hour a week that I take NO calls - for me a luxury--
