Sewing looks fine to me. Honestly the bag didn't wow me maybe I expected more haha. It looks very functional, super lightweight and great pockets design.

I love the blue interior. I am glad the sewing on this shape is good.
I was surprised the blue lining color looks similar to the cloud dustbag blue colour. I'll see again tmr when the lighting is better.
What did you decide? My shoulder bag came and went. I am loving the flat metro lacquer crossbody, which kind of surprised me. I wore it to a crazy holiday party filled with kids and dogs, where everyone just throws their bags in a pile. I wore it the whole day and it was comfortable, looked cute and if something happened, I was so very expensive.
What did u not like about the shoulder bag?
Can u share what can u fit in the flat metro? I like the style it's a staple classic imo. In black lacquer it look really sleek and cool. So glad it's working so well for u .
I'm using the Madison small shopper for work this week. I can throw it over my shoulder with a single hand so that's great. I don't button up or zip the bag that allows me to slip off one handle to grab the items in the collar pockets. Essentially this is a tote for me. I don't like the look of it with the adjustable long strap maybe because I'm not tall enough to carry off the look as a crossbody (I'm 5'2).
Is it growing on you? I think it looks nice on you. As far as the shoulder bag went, I loved the look, but it was sewn funny. I was tempted to send it back and get another one. I however decided to wait. The Flat metro fits my phone, reading glasses, sunglasses without cases, two small vera bradley pouches, and my wallet.
That sounds like a lot. Does the metro flat pack more Vs metro crossbody regular (not the large one)
Yes Madison small shopper is growing on me. It's nice to be able to pack everything in one bag and not to think about switching bag lol. Got to love those pockets.
I had the Metro Crossbody regular and it fit most of my stuff but the flat Metro is easier to use. I really like both bags.
Happy New Year! Hello all! I used this forum a lot when I was looking for new travel bags and now that I am back I wanted to report on how my new mz wallace bags did. Surprise-I loved them. But seriously, I was super impressed with the functionality of all 3 bags I brought. The medium deluxe tote is my new fav carry on, I liked it so much if I saw it in a color I loved I would buy another. The exterior slip pockets, exterior long zip pockets and then the whole interior was genius. All of that and it has a luggage sleeve. 10/10! I brought my 'work' backpack with was the city backpack-a bit small for a day backpack but used heavily on the trip as my personal bag on planes and day bag when I needed a bigger bag. And third bag was the small scout-super boring but holds enough and very very comfortable. These three bags were all great and complimented each other on this multi-week trip. I may have made other packing mistakes but these three bags were perfect in every way.
Now I get to wash them, too many planes, airports, hotels-yuck. Any advice on washing?

I googled and everything I saw encouraged me to machine wash so I put all 3 bags in my front loader with some towels on the normal cycle and they came out Beautiful. Seriously beautiful. I won't wash them often but if you need to wash them-the washing machine is as good as people say. I love these bags even more now! Reminds me of how well my kipling bags would wash up.

What kind of detergent and on what cycle? I don’t need it now but it will be good to know in the future.
Kirkland UltraClean free & clear detergent and on the regular medium temp cycle. Which is the cycle I wash everything on. Air dry and I didn't use much detergent (I never use much)
