As soon as I heard the SO Blacks would be available, and that my store was getting one each of the 32, 35 Kelly and 30, 35 Birkin, in box and in croc, I pre-ordered the 35 box Kelly - I was first on the list.

I'm waiting for mine as well. I was fortunate to nail the SO matte croc in a 35 Kelly at the Madison Ave. event in the fall.

^^ ohhh the so black matte nilo is TDF.. I saw one lady in Paris last oct carrying this.. I was drooling and now thinking of place an order if possible for that bag... *crossing fingers*

Funny Markova! I notice lot of us H-lovers tend to live in crispy white shirts and simple pants! Almost like a uniform! Maybe subconsciously not to upstage our H- bags! :lolots:

Yes! I have found that my style has been moving more and more toward the simple and classic--a big departure for me. Partly my advancing age, and partly, yes, the desire to provide a canvas for my Hermes! Makes packing simpler. Now I just have to let go of the crazier stuff I don't reach for any longer. . . .

I'm not in the US, and the SO Black Birkin hasn't arrived in my store yet, but I'll be going down to admire her (the bag that could have been mine) as soon as she does. I hope I'll have some pics to post, then!
