I posted this elsewhere, but I also wanted everyone who visits this thread to know that box leather can be treated to repel water.

I've been out in the rain and snow with absolutely no problems - the water just beaded and rolled right off. I can really recommend it!

Here's a practical and pretty Xmas gift I received from DD.
It's a purse hook from Alessi called "Minou" and is made of shiny black metal, just like my SO Black baby!
