Callire, the black strand is the freshwater from TPO spring sale. I guess I just like my dyed pearls to have a little more character! When is the next sale, do you know?

Wildflower, there are definitely worst things than being stuck waiting for Turley!!!

Oh, I've only gotten black AAA akoya and grey fw from them. The grey pearls were fine, with more of a purple/green overtone, but they just weren't for me so I returned them. I'm not really a fan of dyed pearls, but I think I might get the black gem fw studs instead of buying tahitians (to go with the PP tin cup). I seem to have a problem with paying more for studs than what I'd pay for a strand (my untreated akoyas were $135, the earrings offered were like $140). Especially since I can get loose pearls for >$10 and force my sister to make me some cute dangles.

Oh, and TPO is overdue for a sale. It should be any day now, although they may be holding out for the MOTHERS DAY EXTRAVAGANZA!!! that will soon arrive and rock our socks
