My newly repaired Louis Vuitton bag

Got the bag for $127 last summer...tried to clean it up with magic clean which was really a bad idea on my side...it had a really bad smell too, kind of moldy and that really old smell...used vinegar, newspapers, etc which made the smell a little bit bearable... I am surprised that after the repair, there is no more smell on my bag[emoji4]

This was the bag after all the cleaning I tried including airing with sunlight...

Totally damaged the bag plus the leather holding the straps were breaking already...

It was worse in person...
But I ended up making it worst...
Glad that Louis Vuitton does repair and replacement of leather as long as there is no crack on the canvas

Looks great. I have this same bag but its the mm size and I have toyed with the idea of getting the vachetta replaced eventually.

Thats amazing how different it looks with the leather replaced!! What an excellent risk you took! I do hope you'll get the straps done too because it will look like a brand new bag!
