I like how the vachetta is already darkening, makes me feel more at ease about using it and getting the handles a little dirty. The handles are a pretty honey color. I'm carrying my Speedy for the first time in a month or so and I've been really anal for the last couple of days about the vachetta. I want it to have a nice, even patina. It needs a tan
