I had that happen to me too with my Dior Girly...I was so disheartened after...:cry:
On my lunch break today I went to the LV store to visit the white MC Trouville... this was actually the very first LV I ever held in my hands, way back last Spring, and I loved it even then when I didn't know what it was called!
I still adore this bag and I am so torn on whether or not to get it, mainly because of the price tag. But god, I KNOW these bags will hang on to their value, and when they stop making them, even go up in value! Augh.

Hi Jane, I totally understand how you feel. I find it very hard to justify for this bag too. It just doesn't feel value-for-money... so extravagant! I can go on a trip, buy a new sofa or a watch or a new tv or a 5.1 sound system or an imac or a pendant or lasik for my eyes or new eyelids... with this kind of money! I think I may buy this bag or other pricey showy stuffs for family, but definitely not for myself. Its really a stab in the heart 
Expensive useless stuffs are solely meant to be gifts obtained from emotional blackmail (when my children grow up, they better study hard and earn loads, so that they can be my next targets!)
