I love it! Did you clean it? That might lighten the sapphire a tad.
thanks Gertrude :D
how would cleaning the sapphire lighten it!?

So pretty! I love sapphires
thanks imalcs;)

So awesome! (And I love your nail color too!)

I've been so curious about liveauctioneers. I'm all registered but I have no idea what auction houses I'm dealing with. Tell us a little about your experience with them too - was it easy? Do you feel more confident with bidding because you're in the industry and can check it out?

I'm so happy for you! This is beautiful and will be even more fun when it's back!

Hey! have you gotten your lucky bracelet yet?:graucho:

hmmm I didn't find it easier then I think anyone else would I just watched a bunch of auctions and read the descriptions and decided the best quality jewellery I could find was the Westbury auction house, there's tonnes more jewellery sales but they tend to be seized asset sales and things along those lines. I just bid on a bunch of items I liked and when it went over my budget stopped bidding, and eventually one of the rings I liked stopped at the top of my budget- only $775!!!

It was very easy, after the auction I emailed the auction house and requested paypal payment (they sent an invoice immediately after the auction) paid, and it was shipped off 22 days later :smile1:

btw the nailpolish Essie- chinchilly, one of my faves!

22 days!!

I have also left absentee bids (I think they were sorely low :P) hoping for the best - recently an amazing rose cut diamond that went for 15x what I had put down. Eek!

Thanks for the nail color tip, I have something a little more brown from essie but I love chinchilly!!

UPS says my bracelet will arrive Monday, I will keep you posted!
