It has been 3 years now since I have acquired my Kelly Flat. And today, I can say, I am really glad I did. Being a fan of the gold/tan with contrast white saddle stitch and palladium hardware, this bag exemplifies this combination in its unique design. It is sellier but supple at the same time. I find it very casual-chic with an innate relaxed quality. Gold in veau swift is just amazing both in hue and feel of the leather. It's a contemporary interpretation of the classic Kelly with its own aesthetic beauty its owner will discover and appreciate over time. Kudos to JPG and the design team at Hermès.
Beautiful! She has aged perfectly, I have been thinking of swift for Birkin 35, do you think it might be too supple for a 35 Birkin?

Thanks gracekelly. Suprisingly, I never had a problem with stains or scratches to the leather surface of my gold swift and it does not darken in color with oils/creams unlike the natural or sable colored smooth leathers.

If you like the hand feel of swift and the shade of gold in this leather, then I would recommend it for a birkin. I think if you like the look and feel of the leather a lot, the more you will enjoy and use your bag especially in a birkin.

Jaegerhomme, the pic of your Kelly flat was what got me interested in this particular version of the Kelly! it is still stunning and breathtaking after all these years!
do you feel that you have gotten much use out of it!? as a guy, I am just still concerned about the size (35). do you always carry it like a normal kelly or folded up or ?
