The Rogue is a fantastic bag. The leather is amazing, the contrast suede lining, the multi-adjustable straps, just the right amount of hardware... You won't regret it if you go that way.

Not if you are looking for something with more capacity than the Mercer. The 25 is a good size if you don't carry much, but you might need to go the the regular sized one, but the regular sized one is weighty. Yeah - I love the Rogue 25 - but I tend toward smaller bags. But if you carry more, go for the regular. Lots of good reviews, pics, WIMB in the Rogue thread Suzanne posted. Happy hunting!

Yea. I think most of us here get that. We get eye rolls, head shaking, sighs and a variety of colorful remarks about our 'hobby'.
If the Mercer 30 is too small for you then the Rogue 25 will be too small, I have (and love) both of these bags.

As for the 25, just depends on how much you carry. I suspect though if you find the Mercer 30 too small, the Rogue 25 will be too small for you, and you should look instead at a regular Rogue.
I find my Rogue 25 fine for the essentials. It can fit a compact to full size wallet, a small cosmetic case, my pocket sized traveler's notebook, a hard sunglass case, and a small pouch with my keys. My phone can fit in outside pocket. I can fit my iPad Mini in the main compartment as well, along the side. But if I want to add a scarf or thin sweater, it becomes too tight of a squeeze because of how the middle compartment is shaped.
Yes, the Rogue has a centre compartment. The one on the regular sized Rogue though is incredibly roomy, all the essentials plus a scarf or thin sweater, etc.. The one on the Rogue 25 is fine if you carry a lighter load/smaller amount of essentials.
Ordering the rogue and then the rest of this year and some of next year I will be on a no buy
