I love love love the ravello, both GM and PM sizes. I think it's a very clean, classy looking bag and it doesn't scream "I've got a Louis Vuitton" since it's in damier.

0o0o, i just love LV... i totally love the Manhattan GM  , i just love the buckle! if you still love this bag, i reckon you should just go for it, but if not then my pick is the Multipli-cite... its very cute!!! :amuse:

good luck on what you decide!

Thanks so much for all the advice. I really appreciate all the thoughts and opinions. The revised list is:

1. Ravello GM (haven't seen it in person yet, but it looks so classy and cute)
2. Onatah GM - out. Suede is too impractical.
3. Hudson GM - Wavering. If I got this style of bag, I like the Ravello better. Pretty sure this is out.
4. Broadway - bit bulky. pretty sure this is out.
5. Trocadero 30 - the more I think about it, the more I really want it. Not sure why at this point.
6. Multipli-cite - pretty sure this is a no too.

so, the list now is pretty much:

1. Ravello GM
2. Trocadero 30

The more and more I think about, the more I want the Trocadero, either that or both for different reasons.

I'm a fan of big bags, especially ones I can wear across my body. I still don't want to let go of the Ravello, it looks so classy. The next step is going to be a trip to the Louis Vuitton store. And because I live in Canberra, which doesn't have one, I have to wait for my next trip to Sydney (in two weeks).

Thanks again for all the input. I'm going to wait for the trip to the store for the final input, but I'm pretty sure (at this point) the decision will be that I'll get the Trocadero 30 definitly, but I'll only get the Ravello as a reward for myself if I lose my weight goal this year.

Thanks again! :)

I can speak for the Multiplicite, I never use it! I find the shape awkward and almost cumbersome, plus the opening is too narrow IMO. Definitely better LVs to have, cross that off the list for sure!
