my heart just sank when I started reading this. glad it turned out okay! now put it away in a safe place away from the kitchen/bathroom/anywhere water collects!!!:rant: (yes, I'm scolding you!!;) )

OMG! I had a heart attack reading this..I keep looking at my green baggy Gm and making sure its not near any water source!!LOL! SOOO SORRY! BUT at least we all know how well the denim holds up now! sorry it had to be you to test the waterproofness out!

My husband's monogram LV wallet went thru the washing machine 3 times already so I guess all of LV are made to last but I wouldn't want to test it out again. :amuse: I was very surprised that the leather trim dried back to the original color. I did use the blow dryer on it right away--but I was sure I would have big time water stains.

Has anyone had any other horrible experiences with their purses?

My heart just sank when I read the first part, but thankfully all is good!!!! I think that's what's great about a high quality bag...it can rebound from everyday mishaps!

i almost freaked out and just died when i read your post .. i'm glad everything turned out ok ..

i would have been crying my eyes out if that happened to me. at least i know my denim bag is more durable than i thought it would be
