dont be too worried if they ruin it or make a mistake as lv will replace it if anything goes wrong on thier behalf, but if ur particular bag is sentimental than think it over a bit more nothing should go wrong but thier allways the off chance

I was reading this thread and the other and I have a few questions. I saw HelenNZ's initials heatstamped on the speedy (the diamond part where the handles attach) and I love that, I like the init. on one handle not both. I am getting a speedy this spring or summer and would love to do that!
questions: Hers seemed smaller, can I get them small like that, I want it subtle. How would I tell them that?
Can you only get 2 on the handle part thingy, I would like 3 if I can, if I get two it will look like the name ED!!! hee
I may buy it at the local Saks, or maybe elux, not sure yet, if I get it at elux do I need proof, my reciept??
The only LV here is Saks downtown Pittsburgh, will they do it? Will they send it out?

luvmybags, firstly you can pic what size initials you want, when i had mine done (i had to go to the special 3rd level hehe the lv lift was fun) they pulled out a book which has all the different types of monograms (inside and outside leathers) with all the possible, sizes and colors of initials, (ive heard some larger stores offer different fonts as well) you also choose how many fullstops you would like i.e JP, J.P, J.P. I dont think the smallest size would fit three per diamond but its worth a try asking, i mean your a vaild lv customer right? Obviously working in the company they can tell counterfiets right, as you do not need to go to the same lv store you purchased your item from, away so a reciept wouldnt be needed but i would take one just in case i couldnt hurt, sorry I live in Australia so i cant answer your last question, but this was the larget store in sydney so it had a separate level for hotstamping a repairs, i know the brisbane and smaller city store sends them down here

omg are u serious, i would have a fit if they did that to me, if i spend over 1000 on a bag and they ruin it it want my fault i mean the customers dont even fill out the forms so they cant blame you for handwritting problems, i mean as i said i wasnt happy wiht the natural imprints so i had them redo it but i dont blame lv (I blame the sa that conviced me lol) and it was my decision so i didnt feel they should replace it (not that they offered) what happened with you?
