OK I took some pics. They didn't all come out. Sorry, I am new at this. :shame: I see Bag Lady posted some great pics of this beautiful bag-Thanks!! I guess you don't need these but I want to show that I did make the effort.

So, you mentioned the denim is like a pair of jeans...does that mean it's a heavy denim material? I thought it was a cotton, like the chocolate Carly; when I heard cotton, I thought it was a thin-ish type of material. So many questions, I know! But so many of us NEED to know! :graucho:

I have the denim and the canvas in my lap right now so I will try to compare them for you. The denim is a hefty fabric and it has a slub to it which gives it random texture. If you look closely at the photos you can see those "slub" line that give it so much character. This is not a thin cotton-you don't have to worry about this fabric wearing out anytime soon. I think the fabric is the same as the Chocolate fabric, just different coloration. The canvas is also a weighty fabric but it has a more uniform texture. It has a very slight roughness-but I don't want you to think it's uncomfortable to the touch. Both bags have a fabric lining. The denim in an indigo and the canvas I have has the pear leather so that is the color of the bag lining. I hope I was able to give a good description for you.

it's not heavy like jeans, that's just what it feels like, it's not super thick either.... the hardware gives it some weight but that's all

These denim bags are beautiful!!! i can't decide which one I want - Chocolate or Denim!! I'm patiently (not really!) waiting for the stores to get them in so I can decide!!!! thanx for the pics
