I know this thread is over 5 months old but I had a question. Your HOF mount is absolutely stunning. I looked at another HOF one yesterday called the repertoire which also has a halo. But it is not flush next to the center stone. Now I want to go back to see if they have your selection available. Anyway, is yours white gold or platinum? Also, if you have a moment to look at my thread I started yesterday, please tell me your opinion of the HOF repertoire. Thanks so much. I love your custom made band too.

I thought Platinum but don't quote me. PM her on here though, she still posts.

I personally prefer Platinum. Besides being violently allergic to gold and nickel (what makes gold white gold) I like that platinum is stronger, easier to maintain in the longrun, and doesn't ever yellow or change color.

I did see your other threads, but will also reply here. This semimount is only available in platinum. As I recall, the Repertoire has a notched wedding band that is available to fit flush with the engagement ring. Mine didn't, so I went custom. The ring you are interested in does have an airline. Do you like that look? The entire Repertoire collection uses the airline and I think it is very pretty. I was going for a different look. I preferred, for me, to have a closed halo. I also liked the knife edge shank with the micropave, the gallery and the side view. The design elements just appealed to me. As I mentioned in one of your other threads, you will need to try on both of them and see which one feels right for you. I tried on the Repertoire and several Tacoris. This one just felt and looked right for me. Enjoy yourself. Are you upgrading your diamond, as well? Let me know what you decide. How exciting this must be for you:D

Risingsun, your setting/diamond is breathtaking!

I completely agree with you with respect to trying on what works for you. Often times I see a setting I *think* I love only to hate it when I try it on in reality.

I'm in the midst of an "upgrade" myself! Good times! :smile1:

Thank you, Contessa:smile1: You might want to start a thread and take some pics of possible stones and settings. I would love to see how things are coming along with your upgrade!
