Bjara- I did get a call this weekend, and was able to place an order for the tan (the color that I was waitlisted for). The store said it received the cream and the tan colors; were you on the waitlist for either color? I know the store is expecting another shipment.

Hope it works out for you!

Uh oh, I hope I was sent the tan and not cream! When my s/a called she said cream (khaki colored is how she described it) on my voicemail, then when we spoke on the phone I specifically said tan/camel. She better have sent the right one! It is on the Fedex truck for delivery right now! :nuts:

Okay, I called BG and there is no cream, only tan (camel) and white. So this batch of tan must be a lighter shade than last season. I'll post pics when my bag arrives!

Congrats - finally!!! I reallly like the white. Can you believe the price for these bags?? I think it is only a matter of time before there is a price increase. We must be driving the girls at BG crazy. :)

Are you keeping them all?

^^I think so! I compared my Caramel with photo's of bags on TFS (also caramel) and mine is lighter than theirs.

^^I'm thinking about it! (guilt...guilt...)

I think you're right about the price. I could see these jumping up to $600.00 or $700.00 dollars easy. Remember how Kooba bags were around $200.00 or $300.00 and then they got popular and all of the sudden the price went up 50%! The leather on the GD is nicer than the Kooba and I would say that they were equally well made - so why not?

That's another reason I purchased all 3 - they price is really good for the quality of bag you get (another reason why I returned my Kooba - this bag seems like it will be around longer style wise - it's not as trendy) - so I figured why not? (am I justifying or what! ha ha)

Here is my camel w/out flash. It is pretty true to color. The leather is not as soft as my chocolate from last season though but it is still a nice bag!

roey, it's a nice bag. Yet another shade/version of the camel charlotte. It looks much lighter and more structured than mine (vs slouchier and darker). Mine doesn't stand up like yours.
